I am not a fan of dealerships that do not fully inform customers. I bought a 2024 Kona on 10/31/24 and took possession on 11/1/24. I got a chip in the windshield and checked to see if warranty covered thi customers. I bought a 2024 Kona on 10/31/24 and took possession on 11/1/24. I got a chip in the windshield and checked to see if warranty covered this. Imagine my surprise when I found out the warranty started 4/1/24! The car lost 7 months of warranty sitting on the lot. When checking on this, the salesman knew nothing about your so-called program of starting a car’s warranty before sale. I don’t know if this is legal but it’s certainly unethical. More
I am extremely unsatisfied that the dealership started charging 3 % for using a credit card to pay !! Will look into a closer location for future services! My palisade needed a new transmission and is only 5 years old. Everything (except deductible and tax) was covered under warranty. I had the vehicle towed there and was happy with the experience. Then is t old. Everything (except deductible and tax) was covered under warranty. I had the vehicle towed there and was happy with the experience. Then is took 5 weeks for the parts to arrive (understand that's not within the dealers control, still frustrating) but then it took another week for the work to be completed! Alex was professional and courteous throughout. On my way home, the engine overheated 3 times in less than 10 minutes! Had to have it towed back to the dealer again only to find someone neglected to bleed the coolant system properly and left air pockets. Had to go back AGAIN to pick up the next day. All the while I was asking for a courtesy vehicle and one did not become available until 3 business days prior to pick up. I was also only informed about rental reimbursement the week before pick up. Super frustrating process! More
