Everyone I dealt with was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. They addressed a few very minor issues with the car I was purchasing and told me not to worry, they would take care of it. I needed a car in a hurry and I did not want to spend a ton of money for a reliable car. I looked at a few places, and then came upon Bourne. There were a lot of cars to choose from. I just recently purchased a 2012 Mustang from Bourne's Auto and it was a wonderful experience! I'm always a little reserved about shopping for a car because around my area its mostly the stereotypical car Auto and it was a wonderful experience! I'm always a little reserved about shopping for a car because around my area its mostly the stereotypical car sales people who swarm you the moment you step out of your car and always "need to go talk to their manager" every few minutes when it comes time to buying the car. My experience at Bourne's was quite the opposite, it was the most laid back, customer-driven car buying experience I've had to date. My sales associate was David Pair and he was great, very prompt email responses to all of my questions that I had about buying the car and he was most friendly. There was a great price on the particular year/make/model that I was looking for, cheapest within 50 miles of me. Bourne's 'no-haggle' price is exactly that, no haggling needed or allowed hah. Jake made the experience very easy. He had the cars I was interested in waiting for us when we got to the dealership and took care of every issue with no BS. He just simply did it. In addition the finance guy, Shawn, was very good. he explained everything to us about our purchase and made it a pleasant event. Our situation was somewhat unique in that my mother's old car engine seized. My mother is "almost elderly" and needed a car immediately and she did not want new. After searching on the internet, I called Bourne Auto Sales and immediately place a deposit. A few days later my mother and I visited Bourne and met David Olson. David did not give a hard sell and was not pushing. He allowed us to test drive the car and he addressed a few issues with scratches. The body work to remove the scatches and chips was first rate. The car looked new. Here's where Bourne and David Olson exceeds other used car dealers. My mother was hospitalised a few days before we were to pick up the car. I called the dealership to explain, at no time was there any threat to return the deposit. Understand, they held the car well over 2 weeks almost 3 weeks with only a deposit as we were not financing, they had no guarantee we were going to buy the car other than a verbal promise. Today, we picked up her. They processesed all the paperwork (insurance, registration, etc) no hard sell on a warrantee (hate that). It was a smoothe and easy transaction. My "almost elderly" mother did not feel intimated and she was treated with respect without schmooze (which she hates). It was a pleasure to deal with David Olsen and Bourne Auto. I would recommend them to family and friends. More
Jake was great, very patient with me. I went shopping with my husband for a new car for myslef. I test drove several cars, some multiple times the day after a snow store. Jake was happy to tredge through the snow and cold to pull any car I asked to try. After I tried each car he would ask for feedback and listend to what we had to say. My husband and I can be difficult to read and didn't give much in weather we liked or disliked any car. The car that I did go to see was in service the day I was there, so my husband and myself decided to go back a few days later after the car was cleaned and ready. On Wednesday when We went back the car was nearly finished so I test drove my 2nd favorite car while I waited and my Husband decided that he wanted to try a new car for himslef also. Again Jake was very accomodating in getting us any car we wanted to try. Once I had made my choice, he helped with paper work and getting me settled into my new car before I left. The price of the car I chose was fantastic for the year and milage. Andrew was very helpful in getting me a loan in my own name and then re applied for the loan when we decieded to add my husband. He also helped us in getting a better rate once he knew my mother in law worked for the bank we used for the financing. Overall we are very happy with how we were treated, the service we received and the financing. My husband will be watching to see if there is a car he may be interested in purchasing in the future. At the start, the experience was stress free, pleasant, and no fuss whatsoever. Once we had the truck, there was a hiccup with the registration transfer, and follow up on the dealership's part dropped off. and no fuss whatsoever. Our situation was resolved after having to repeatedly call and email, which was less then pleasant. Once the issue was identified, the sales manager and his team worked as quickly as they could to get us our registration. The general manager did follow up with us after the fact as well, to make sure we were no longer displeased, and to make things right. Overall it's a good dealership with a great selection, friendly people, and fair prices. Our situation was slightly out of the ordinary, I'm sure the exception and not the rule...but it was difficult to go through due to timing constraints (Full time job and two kids under 2) on my end. More
