Seth Ibarra was my Service Advisor and he did an amazing job! He helped me find a cost-effective service solution that solved the issues I was having with my vehicle. He really went above an beyond. I just bought my first "new" car from camelback Toyota and am beyond satisfied. From the moment I called the dealership I was treated with ample service. I was able to get the car of my dreams at the pric and am beyond satisfied. From the moment I called the dealership I was treated with ample service. I was able to get the car of my dreams at the price that was right for me finically. Whey step of the way I was kindly guided and never felt obligated or forced. I worked directly with Ryan G, Eddie K, and Brian (in financing). Being that I sold my car and was unable drive down to view the vehicle, Eddie personally delivered the car to me in Flagstaff. In short if your looking to buy a car with and want that stress free warm and fuzzy feeling these are your people! More
After over a week of shopping on CarGurus, I found what I was looking for at Camelback Toyota. I spoke to the internet sales manager Ryan who assured me the truck had gone through Toyota’s 150 point inspecti was looking for at Camelback Toyota. I spoke to the internet sales manager Ryan who assured me the truck had gone through Toyota’s 150 point inspection. The next day Amanda drove the vehicle to my home for a test drive. The first thing I noticed is that the aftermarket key fob wasn’t functioning properly which I mentioned to Amanda. Before leaving my driveway I checked to make sure the 4WD functioned properly which it did not. I test drove the truck and everything else seemed in order. After returning home I noticed a hose clamp around one of mounts for the tailgate, and that the tailgate soft open wasn’t functioning properly which I also mentioned to Amanda. Later that night (Saturday, Oct 15th) Ryan, zealous to make a deal called and said they were going to push the deal through and have the truck to me the next day with paperwork to sign along with all the issues fixed I’d discovered throughout the test drive. The next day the only call I received from Camelback was from finance trying to push the deal through. I got irritated because I wanted the fixes in writing and proof of the 150 point inspection because at this point I was obviously suspect that one had not been done. Fast forward into the following week and all I kept getting was dodged calls and texts to answer if all the issues had been ironed out. Finally Wed afternoon I got in touch with a director who told me the 4WD wasn’t operating correctly and they’d ordered an actuator to fix it...Amanda wouldn’t admit to this but kept making excuses why whe wasn’t able to deliver the truck in the days prior. Thursday the 22nd Amanda showed up nearly 2 hours late at 6:45 pm to pick up my trade in and drop off the Tundra I was buying. I asked several times if all the issues were worked out but wasn’t given any proof of the 150pt inspection. The next day I noticed the remote start was working but the driver door would not lock or unlock using the key fob. I also saw that the hose clamp was still on the tailgate mount and that it clearly wasn’t operating correctly. Fast forward a week and a trip to Tucson I notice that the front tires were wearing terribly on the outside shoulders. I parked the truck on level ground I could visibly see the alignment was out no less than 1” from top to bottom. At this point I also noticed that both upper ball joint boots are cracked and leaking grease. I took the truck in to get a new grill installed as per the contract agreement and asked about the key fob, tailgate and alignment and ball joints. The grill was installed and alignment done, the service manager told me the tailgate wasn’t in the contract even after I had Amanda add it to the IOU list. He had the hose clamp taken off which was clearly a bandaid for the underlying issue. He also told me that I’d have to go to a shop to get the fob fixed. Completely dissatisfied and irate, at this point I knew I’d been taken and that this truck had never been through an inspection: tires out of alignment, tailgate held together by a hose clamp, 4WD not operating correctly, balljoints needing attention and key fob not functioning correctly...what about the engine, transmission, transfer case, rear differential and all their fluids and wear this inspection is suppose to pick up on? All while trying to contact a manager or director to address the issues, my credit union started reaching out to me about payment for my trade in. I was told 10 days for payoff when going over the finance contract. Today, Nov 17th having had my payment information from Toyota financial for 1.5 weeks for the new loan, my trade in has finally been paid off, 26 days after signing the contract for the new vehicle?? I’ve tried every avenue to get the issues on the new truck fixed with no response. I believe Toyota has their dealerships conduct inspections for peace of mind to the consumer and to uphold their reputation of quality. It appears Camelback uses this to their advantage without actually conducting the service/repairs. I thought buying from Toyota because of extensive inspection would be the best option. As it turns out, I’m the one finding all the issues that would’ve been rectified at a reputable Toyota dealership. Completely disgusted. More
I am very disappointed with my recent purchase experience of a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota and subsequent service from Camelback Toyota. It all started with difference in the price of the vehicle from what I of a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota and subsequent service from Camelback Toyota. It all started with difference in the price of the vehicle from what I signed with the sales person and what finance presented to me. Camelback Toyota delivered the vehicle with a large area of clear coat missing on the driver’s door, and has not been fixed. When the vehicle would not start, the towing provider with Toyota Care damaged the front spoiler because he had the back wheels raised too high. No one with any authority has contacted me about these issues. The salesperson told me that they would fix the clear coat, but nothing has been done and I still have a vehicle with a door that looks terrible. It makes me wonder if the door was repainted and if the dealership may be hiding facts. Additionally, my front spoiler damaged by their tow truck driver remains damaged and not repaired. Overall, I remain very disappointed with Camelback Toyota. More
Purchased a new Tundra & Rav4 here in 2017 and were happy with them. Deal was reached and paperwork ready when we arrived. His truck was rear-ended and totalled in 2018 and tried to replace with another Tund with them. Deal was reached and paperwork ready when we arrived. His truck was rear-ended and totalled in 2018 and tried to replace with another Tundra (would have been our 3rd). Sales department was useless. Every communication consisted of come lounge around the lot. They refused to broker any semblance of a deal without driving 4 hours. In 2019 tried twice to upgrade and had the same, if not worse experience. No sale. In 2020 we tried yet again (like fools) to get a 2nd Rav4. I don't know what is wrong with these people but I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you have no life and enjoy spending HOURS, days or even weeks wandering around a car lot. They wouldn't even answer basic questions without coming to the lot for torture. We were once loyal Toyota lovers. Never again. Not because of the cars, but because of Camelback. I don't see David Johnson among the choices in these names but it wouldn't let me review without pointing a finger at someone. Camelback reviews are bad. There is a reason for that. More

I contacted this dealership on a Sunday afternoon about a 2019 4x4 Chevy truck they advertised on Autotrader and spoke to Amanda in the internet department. I live more than 80 miles from the dealership so I 2019 4x4 Chevy truck they advertised on Autotrader and spoke to Amanda in the internet department. I live more than 80 miles from the dealership so I made an appointment to come in as soon as they opened on Monday morning with intent to purchase that vehicle. Amanda promised to call me if anyone showed up before closing Sunday wanting to purchase that truck. She gave no option to place a deposit. Living so far from the dealership it wasnt possible to race right over there. At 4pm a manager from the dealership, Caleb, called to confirm my morning appointment. The next morning I drove down with a friend to purchase the vehicle. I called to say I was running a few minutes late. I'm now told, sorry that vehicle was sold late last night! So I've driven 1 1/2 hours to see a truck they sold to someone else very late Sunday? I got no phone call to cancel that appointment just a txt message that I never saw. Now at 9:30 am Caleb calls me wanting to know why I didn't show up for my appointment. I ask why he thinks I would show up when they sold the truck I wanted without telling me. He informs me that I was coming in to see a 2016 Equinox not a truck. He tells me autotrader notified the dealership saying I was looking at a 2016 Equinox. Caleb says I was definitely looking at the Equinox and some guy named John was attached to my phone number. He says, "That must be your husband"! Now I'm getting upset. I tell him first I have no husband, I was not looking at an Equinox, and I don't know any John person! I get told that's why no one called you because you were looking at an Equinox. I tell Caleb I have no idea what he is talking about. I get an oh well I'm sorry. I say thats all you've got to say about this when I drove 1 1/2hrs for nothing. I hang up and call to speak to the general manager. I get told he is in a meeting and that he has a person who handles all his complaints. I say I'd like his voice mail so I can leave him a message. Im told he gets mad if she lets anyone leave a voice mail for him. Im then instructed that she will have to give my name and phone number to him on a piece of paper. I never received a return phone call from this manager. I am evidently not important enough to him to get him to call back. So I'm a single female and a cash buyer but he can't do me the courtesy of returning my phone call to hear what happened to me. I don't appreciate the treatment I received. I question the vehicle being sold late on Sunday night when I was coming in to buy the truck when they opened on Monday. I could not recommend this dealership and I certainly would not use them in the future. More
Never gave up!!!!!! Hi, I am sharing this experience with you because you must be looking for a vehicle. I absolutely love my 2004 PT Cruiser, don't want to give it up. Hi, I am sharing this experience with you because you must be looking for a vehicle. I absolutely love my 2004 PT Cruiser, don't want to give it up. Toyota on Camelback is extremely fortunate to employ a professional, mature, laid back but aggressive man named Mr. Eddie K. Because of my search for my next love of my life car, it has taken me months to decide. Along the way Eddie K has stuck with me. Not kidding, He sent me videos he actually took of vehicles inside and out. It has been 2 or 3 months speaking with him that I finally went to test drive a Toyota CH-R. To my delight he came out looking professional and educated in the industry. I knew I could TRUST him. So will you. He gave a tour of the Dealership, however had problems with the coffee machine. ha Bottom line is, did I purchase that CH-R? NO. But he is staying on it for me, even though I am a hard sale. He makes you want to purchase your next car at Toyota and with him. Hope this helps. Don't mind leaving my name. Gloria PS Don't expect a beer from the girls upfront. WATER.... More
