I wish I could give this dealership zero stars for their lack of communication and follow-through. When we purchased our Dodge Durango Hellcat in 2022, the experience was absolutely amazing—so much so that lack of communication and follow-through. But fast forward two years, and I regret every positive word I wrote. In December, we were involved in a terrible accident, and the vehicle was totaled. Our insurance paid their part, but there was still a remaining balance. No problem, right? After all, we purchased GAP coverage through THIS dealership to cover exactly this kind of situation. But instead of helping us, this dealership has made it nearly impossible to get anything resolved. I have been calling nonstop for WEEKS, only to be transferred from person to person, sent to voicemail, and left with no returned calls. The dealership knows that there are strict deadlines for filing the GAP and warranty paperwork—because they SOLD us these contracts—yet they refuse to take action. We finally got in touch with Mitra Rampersad, who requested documents, which we sent back the SAME DAY. Then, we had to get another form notarized, which we did immediately and sent back on March 17th. Since then? Radio silence. We even contacted the company that was supposed to receive the paperwork, and guess what? They never got a thing! If this paperwork isn't filed in time, guess who gets stuck paying off a vehicle we haven’t even had since December? Not the dealership. US. A military family with four kids, who drove almost 9 hours ONE WAY to buy this vehicle from them. Our insurance only covered a rental for 60 days—how are we supposed to afford another vehicle while still making payments on a truck we no longer have? It is absolutely ridiculous that we have to fight this hard to get something done that should have been handled weeks ago. What is the point of paying for GAP and other warranties if the dealership refuses to do their part? This experience has been beyond frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. They were happy to take our money when we bought the truck, but when it’s time to step up and provide support after the sale? They’re nowhere to be found. Mr. Mitra Rampersad has all the documentation he needs to send over to the cancel coverage company in order for them to do their part. I will continue to leave a negative review daily on multiple platforms until this is addressed because who would want to continue to fork up this amount of money monthly for a TOTALED OUT vehicle. When I inquired about the hellcat online the dealership was calling my phone within minutes!! We put $10,000 down on the truck before even seeing it because of the trust and customer service we felt with this dealership. This whole process of losing not just a vehicle but a DREAM vehicle has been stressful enough, and this only adds more stress to my plate! DO BETTER. I am not sure if the individuals we worked with a couple of years ago on the purchase aspect of this but I've listed their names below for reference. We have left voicemails for Homer, and he was actually the sole reason why we made sure to purchase the extra warranties and such for the Hellcat.
