Everyone from sales to finance to management really took care of me and made the transaction happen smoothly. Fully transparent no pressure fair deal. The lease on my wife's CX-5 was coming due in a few months and the Covid-19 deals were looking pretty good so I decided to look into releasing a new M The lease on my wife's CX-5 was coming due in a few months and the Covid-19 deals were looking pretty good so I decided to look into releasing a new Mazda. I called Capistrano Mazda and was connected with Rick Katz. I explained my situation and he went to work dealing with the current lease company to double check all the available incentives. Once I gave him a few cars to price out from their inventory he was prompt in getting back to me via email on the detailed cost including all the current incentives. I made a quick trip to see Rick to decide on a final color combo, meet with AJ from the F&I department for a very easy discussion on options, gave a few signatures and I was on my way back home . Rick delivered the car a few days later to the house, got my wife's autograph and took the old CX-5 away. If it was this easy to buy a new car in trying times like now just imaging how easy Rick and the gang will make it when we are back to normal. More

We felt taken care of at the time - but We were extremely happy with the service and care at the time of purchase of our vehicle - the associates were lovely and attentive. But we were extre We were extremely happy with the service and care at the time of purchase of our vehicle - the associates were lovely and attentive. But we were extremely disappointed when we learned over a month later that the extended warranty we purchased requires us to take the car to Capistrano Mazda for service, which is 40 miles from our home. This detail was not disclosed to us when we purchased the vehicle and were asked if we wanted to purchase the extended warranty. Had we known this detail, we likely would not have spent the money on this extended warranty. Also we still have not received details on how this warranty actually works - no detailed paperwork, just a phone number to call and a card to carry with us. This has put a sour taste in our mouthes for this purchase. We also purchased the dent protection policy, and then later someone who works for Mazda told us we might have to pay a surcharge to get dents or scratches touched up if it needs painting because we bought a car that has a premium paint color (Soul Red). This also makes us less than pleased. We had a disappointing experience at a different Mazda dealer (plus they required us to go to their dealership in Puente Hills for extended warranty coverage) so we walked out and came to Capistrano Mazda, which had been highly recommended to us.
