Arlen really helped me out. I was recently in for service a few weeks ago & did a big service job. Had recently spent some money doing a water pump. I had lost my job when COVID 19 started and replay didn’t a few weeks ago & did a big service job. Had recently spent some money doing a water pump. I had lost my job when COVID 19 started and replay didn’t want to spend the money but I knew it was an important job with the mileage on my car & didn’t want it to lead to other more substantial problems . Had to take the car back In again due to a check engine light so I was nervous that I had another major issue with my VW. However he explained we will check it out & help you out with whatever they could for me. Anyway it wasn’t a minor ordeal and made it out with a fair price and the engine light is now out and I’m feeling good about the vehicle and the service dept taking care of me and making the right recommendations on my behalf. My breaks have been squeaking and I brought it to the attention of the gentleman helping me. He said he would have them looked at upon my oil change service. In the video sent to me, the tech said my bre attention of the gentleman helping me. He said he would have them looked at upon my oil change service. In the video sent to me, the tech said my breaks were in good condition. When service was complete, I noticed on my way home my breaks were still squeaking. I brought my car back to the service Dept and a different gentleman told me it’s a common issue with VW vehicles and I just have to deal with it since my breaks are in good condition. Had I known I would have to deal with squeaking breaks I would’ve never purchased a VW vehicle. I don’t appreciate being told that I just have to deal with the loud squeaking breaks. The gentlemen then told me to drive my car at 40 mph then slam on the breaks to “correct” the squeaking issue. It was raining so I said I don’t feel safe doing it. He took my car and did it for me. On my way home my breaks were still squeaking. I am very disappointed with the response to my squeaking breaks and lack of solution. More
