Renton Kia is a joy to work with. We bought a Soul there last year and have loved it. The service department has always been helpful and easy to work with. I went in to purchase a new Kia Optima. I had the vehicle already picked out and the price set. The dealership went out of their way to show me all the options and how to operate the vehicle. They were never pushy and I continually felt that they really wanted to take care of me. The whole process of purchasing the vehicle was painless and enjoyable. I never felt pressured into anything I did not want. They were informative about additional add-ons such as the warranty or gap insurance, but never pushy and made it clear that it was completely my decision without trying to push me one way or the other. My first experience purchasing a car at a dealership could not have gone better and I walked away informed, happy, and driving a fantastic new car! My wife is from Thailand and has been in the states for the last 4 years. She has diligently been saving her money to buy her first new car. After many hours of research we felt the 6cyl Sorento SX was the most practical and best comparable to other similar models. I have purchased many new cars in the United States and have had many trying experiences in the process. I tried to prepare my wife for the ordeal we were about to partake in. Well, I could not have been more surprised on how easy the process was and the way we were treated by all of the staff. Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted by Ty Coleman, who by appearance was just another American female car sales person. My initial response to my wife was "get ready, here we go!" And there we went. Ty approached us and recognized my wife as being Thai and to my amazement she began speaking to my wife in the Thai language. Well everything went uphill from there. I was pretty much removed from the process at that point. My wife and Ty worked out all the details and I didn't understand a word they said. My only imput was negotiating the purchase price and that was the easist negotiation I have ever been involved in. Ty Coleman and the staff at Renton Kia proved me wrong when I told my wife how difficult the process was going to be. I would absolutely recommend Ty and Renton Kia to anyone who is wanting to buy a new car but is hesitant in going through the process. Maybe times have changed or maybe we were just Lucky to find Renton Kia and Ty!!! More
I came in just to see what was available and affordable for a first time car purchase for my 16 year old daughter with no intension of buying. Right away we were greeted warmly by Sam. While I explained the situation as to what brought us there he sat listening attentively without interuption. Right away that put me at ease enough to let the guards down because it made me feel that Sam was not going to pressure me and really wanted to help find the right car for us, not just a quick sale. As we were waiting for a car to be brought around front, we discovered a car on the showroom floor. When Sam saw the interest we had for that car, he became as excited as we were about it. The more we looked and talked about the showroom car, the more confident Sam and I were that that was the right car for us. It was a gorgeous car with a great price. In working with the numbers, I felt Sam was on our side and would do everything he could to help me to be were I needed. Once there, I expressed concern with affording the payment,increased insurance costs and the situation dealing with other family members. Sam and his boss without hesitation offered a 5 day return which I have never seen before - that made all the differnece in the world.Sam's non-aggressive style, his light hearted personality, and trust worthiness will always bring us back to buy another car. He made my daughters first car buying experience a fun one. More
From the first time we came into the dealership we were greeted with very friendly people. Christina offered us a test drive of a Soul. It was fantastic. My wife and I visited the Renton Kia dealership on 22 September 2012 with the intention of looking at a Sportage, during that process our salesperson Ty Coleman approached us to provide assistance. Ty's knowledge, professionalism and assistance on that day was outstanding and by the time we left I had decided to look further at the Soul and not proceed to assess the Sportage anymore. I ended up returning on Sunday to test drive the Soul and ended up purchasing that vehicle and driving away in a tricked out Soul "my Hamster car". Throughout that entire process TY was outstanding and at no time ever pressured us into anything or rushed us she could get to another customer. It was Ty's knowledge and assistance in fact that led to my purchasing the Soul. I would not hesitate in recommending Renton Kia and Ty in particular, as a place to go if you are in the market for a new car due to the outstanding customer service provided. More
