Financing went from says everythings good, then NOT APPROVED Found a 2015 Ram Promaster 3500 EXT at Carl Burger dealership that I wanted so I emailed the Internet Dept and got a response back from Justin Hurta. Found a 2015 Ram Promaster 3500 EXT at Carl Burger dealership that I wanted so I emailed the Internet Dept and got a response back from Justin Hurta. He was pleasant to deal with so I let him run my credit over the phone to make sure everything with financing would be squared away before I drove 100+ miles each way to the dealership (I'm in Riverside County, they are in San Diego County).. So Justin runs my credit (hard inquiry on my credit score) but he says it came back looking good (I have a credit tracker and I had 719 on TransUnion and 689 on Equifax) so he tells me from what his finance guy says I should be around 4.9%-5.9% APR with 72 months which I agreed would be OK... So the next day I decide I will make the drive to Carl Burger to make the purchase of the new 2015 Ram Promaster. I talk with Justin again to schedule a time and be sure the vehicle and paperwork will be ready when I get there and Justin says yes he will get it going and to secure financing with one of there banks...Well an hour after we spoke (I was already on the road to San Diego) I get a call from Justin saying they are not getting any banks to take my loan and they have tried 2-3 banks which now shows 3 hard inquiries on my credit report now! So now my credit score dropped to 682 and 650! I'm really disappointed that this dealership dinged my credit score like this and still not able to finance me on the vehicle after supposedly everything "looked good" Justin tells me over the phone while I'm an hour into the drive down to there dealership is "the only way I can sell you this van today is if you pay CASH" ! Wow ! Went from being fully financed with little to no down payment to $40,000 paying for vehicle in full. If anything I guess I should be grateful they called and told me this before I walked into the dealership. I STILL WANT THE VEHICLE but now my credit score is damaged for awhile so don't know how I'm going to be able to finance. I wish Carl Burger would have at least had given me some kind of financing options like $10,000 down which I could have done but no they simply said no bank wants to touch me... More

I went to carl burger and first spoke with Javier, he was very helpful and wanted to find a way for me to get approved! He set me up with Sonny Kareem his manager and he got to work! Sonny did everything he could to get me approved, he also worked out a deal to get me out of my lease I was in and into the new lease with my jeep! Everything ended up working out to get me what I wanted! I want to thank Sonny and his team for all the efforts they made to make me happy! I will be going back to him in the near future to get my husband his truck!!!! More

Lies and false advertising To make a long story short about my experience at Carl burger dealer in la Mesa ca, was horrible and I don't recommend anyone going there, I went on To make a long story short about my experience at Carl burger dealer in la Mesa ca, was horrible and I don't recommend anyone going there, I went on their website and Saw a Chrysler 200 Limited addition for 18,000 so I decided to call and the salesperson told me they have two in stock but when I got there it was a whole different story the first person I spoke to said they have two in stock as well and then he asked who I talked to on the phone so I told him the persons name and he went and got him And he said let me make sure that we have the right vehicle so he went and checked and then he walked us to a black and silver Chrysler 200 Limited edition and he said pick the one that you would like to test drive so we chose the black one we took it for test drive and we liked it and we decided to go inside to negotiate the deal they took all of our information and after that a sales manager came and said that this was the wrong vehicle it's not the one that was advertised on the website but he was willing to sell that vehicle for 20,000 . So basically what they were trained to do or they thought they were dealing with With dummies . So basically they were trying to xxxxxxxx because two people said they had the vehicle that we saw online but then all of a sudden the sales manager came he said that they only had one and they sold it ,which doesn't make any sense because I was at the dealer within 45 minutes after talking to the sales person on the phone in the morning but I was there a total of four hours and we had the keys to the black vehicle that was advertised for 18,000 in our hands the whole time so he was lying and trying to pull a fast one . basically their whole advertisement was a lie all they do is try to get people in the dealer after there false advertising & lie to them about the car and the price ,the worst part of this was the car was for my daughter for her 16th birthday and they absolutely ruined her day and it was such a disappointment for her.
