I had done a ton of research on the internet and the Durango had gotten solid reviews the last few years. We live in La Mesa so figured we would just go look at on and drive it to get a feel, but had no intentions on buying. You see, we are big time savers and hate to part with any of our hard earned money. We drove a barely used 2014 Durango and both liked it. We looked at a 2013 and also looked a used GMC Yukon but we both liked the Durango. Sam, and his sales partner Abel (Manager?? not sure) sat with us and made us a deal even without seeing our trade in. The price was great and they were giving us a great deal on our trade in, but my wife and I were not expecting to buy a car so we were pretty tentative. They let us take the SUV to lunch so we could think about it. Upon returning, we still were pretty hesitant and both Sam and Abel were extremely patient and did everything they possibly could to make us feel comfortable. After discussing further, my wife and I decided to move forward and Tommy Preciado handled the financing. He got us a great rate and explained everything to our satisfaction. Everyone who helped us were very professional and seemed genuinely sincere and wanting to make sure we never felt pressured. Sam even drove with me to my home to pick up the trade in!! Very happy with the customer service and all the people we dealt with. Even though we live in Oceanside and Carl Burger is in La Mesa, we decided to take the trip on the advice of our friend. Well I have to stay the trip was worth it! The experience we received from the moment we drove up was nothing less than exceptional. Gary Thiem made sure we were well taken care of. We were introduced to Able Chemsi who set us up with salesman Sam Portes. They were very friendly and professional. We had already done some shopping on their website, so we had an idea of the vehicles we wanted to check out. The first one we looked at was the prefect one for us. Sam took us out for a test drive and we knew that it was the one we wanted to purchase. Sam was able to answer all of our questions and went over all of the features of the car and even synced my iphone for me.. The financial part of buying the car was also a great experience. We feel we got a fair trade-in on our truck and an exceptional price for the car and extended warranty. Mike Kaziyev handled the finance. He was through and efficient, explaining all of the options to us so we could make the best choice for our needs. Over all our experience with the Carl Burger team was outstanding! The only issue I have is that I wanted to see the damaged upper radiator hose and to find out why it happened. Sorry to say, I left not knowing. I think that is an issue for you to address. This Overland has only 16K miles on it. Why would a serpentine belt touch an upper radiator hose to cause it to leak? I will not know unless I remove the shroud to see for myself. Perhaps a simple call to the mechanic might have been in order. It could have been a long day perhaps. I will keep coming back. More

Christian went above and beyond in helping us come to a decision about our purchase by answering all of our questions regarding the car we were most interested in. He was completely thorough and had so much knowledge about the Dodge Challengers inside and out that by the time we test drove the car we were pretty sure it was the one.
