This was the single best car purchasing experience my wife and I have ever had. Hugo, our salesman, conducted himself perfectly - friendly, attentive, low key and zero sales pressure. Then the "sales manager" step was about to happen and the hair on the back of my neck started bristling...unnecessarily, as it turned out, because John Meyer was also outstanding to work with. Wes Kachi did the paperwork/upsell last step, which I've always dreaded....and he was great also - we actually enjoyed the "finance manager" step also. We are also very pleased with the price we paid for the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. We got to a very attractive price with zero stress created by Hugo and John - none. My wife always stays home and I go buy the car we have selected because she can't stand the car buying experience. I dragged her to Carl Burgers yesterday...and for the first time ever - she enjoyed the process. How sad is it that other dealerships make it so unpleasant for the customer? O.K> this might be a long one.. Started my search at Poway Dodge with an initial call to internet sales to ask about differences in models, never recieved a call. Went In and was met by the sales manager who looked like he partied all night and could not answer certain questions. They did and eval on my trade (well actually I did it-- I was handed a clip board.) Spent 4 hrs there and left with no info, they were going to call me with the value. Day 2, never heard from poway Dodge so we went to Jack Powell in escondido and at this point knew exactly the model I wanted white tradesman quad cab in white. The salesman Angel was new but very helpful, even took me to their overflow yard to check stock. He was new though and couldn't answer some of the technical questions I had so brought me in the sales office to check with his boss Al. Immediatly this Al guy starts chewing this young salesman out LOUD. Stating he was an Idiot and what the xxxx did he want him to do about-- an then dropped the (F) BOMB right there in the office. I was shocked, grabbed me and my wife and got out of there -- I will be calling the GM about this today!! Finally Carlburger we pull up and were met By Sam at our car (by this time i'm pretty fed up). He was dressed nice and presented himself in a Professional matter. His knowledge of the truck models and process was a breath of fresh air. My wife liked him -- and that goes a long way with me.Had the truck and my car apprised in like 20 min, explained the exactly what was going to happen next the whole time and assured me I would be driving away in my new truck by 5pm. Tony came in with the number and made.my numbers work for me felt at ease. Mike in finance was not to pushy on the extras and took care of me with the gap insurance, Explained what to expect as far as my trade in value and interest rates-- once again a very fast process I was impressed.
