Yes, Andy did try to explain the benefits, which are debatable. "Greatly discounted"? Seriously. There is a high profit margin on this or you wouldn't do it. If customers saw value in this you would offer it as an option when they buy the car. And why only half a tank or less of gas? It was explained that this was to lighten the load for the carrier. All these years carriers have been hauling full tanks of gas without it being a problem. If that is the reason, fine, but send along a $50 gift card to fill up the tank when it gets here. I'm guessing if you do the math there is a lot of extra profit made when you don't have to fill up the gas tanks of all the cars you sell. And $500 off a future purchase for a dealership 2000 miles away is a safe bet on your part. I liked dealing with your dealership, but these hidden things make me less happy about the experience which is a shame.
