Great place for a 1st time buyer It was my first time buying a car and i was kind of scared because i didnt want to be annoyed by your typical sales shark. All information from car fax to service records from the previous owner and the dealership were available and comparisons of other prices and like vehicles were presented to me to make sure that i was sure of mind. Lack of communication Purchased a used X5 M series with an extended warranty. The engine spilled oil from a very early point and the car was returned 4 time with the same i Purchased a used X5 M series with an extended warranty. The engine spilled oil from a very early point and the car was returned 4 time with the same issue without the problem being solved. Finally and the last visit the shop identified what they believed would be the problem however the extended warranty wouldn’t cover I was informed and the cost was 2.200. I send the service manager my point of view and received a one liner just summarizing whether I wanted the car fixed or not! No apology or explanation. I copied the CEO who kindly decided to reduce the cost from 2.200 to 1.400. Previously I had been in the same situation with a trunk issue where the shop once again said that the extended warranty wouldn’t cover. The issue at hand is not whether extended warranty are covering or not but how I feel treated as a valued customer. I lack clear communication from the department and some kind of emphathy for the situation. Not only has the car been in and out several times without the problem being fixed but the department seem. It to fulfill the companies ambition about customers. I appreacie the intervention from the CEO - however that shouldn’t be necessary! More
