My wife and I dealt with Jim and Asten when it came to trading in our vehicle for a used Mazda. At first they seemed very nice and friendly, and we thought we had finally found a great dealership to work trading in our vehicle for a used Mazda. At first they seemed very nice and friendly, and we thought we had finally found a great dealership to work with. But after the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed, our experience went south...FAST! Everything they had promised to do and/or fix felt like pulling teeth just to get it done. Just to get our vent fixed (which was cracked prior to purchase and they had signed a form agreeing to fix it free of charge) took almost a month. Jim and Asten had us drive all the way back to our house to get the piece of paper that proved they agreed to fix the vent. As it turned out, they already had a copy there and played dumb when I inquired why I had to drive all the way home and come all the way back to get some thing they already had. Jim constantly acted as though he had no idea who we were every time we saw him or called. To top it off, on the day of our purchase we had informed them that the manual was missing from our Mazda, and they informed us that they would immediately get us a new one. Well, that was back in August 2012. After too many phone calls to count and FIVE times of hearing that they were finally ordering the manual, the manual was finally picked up tonight (JANUARY 2013...FIVE months after we originally informed them about the manual). I last spoke with Jim THREE weeks ago, and he informed me that it would be in within 15 days. Well, I chose to wait patiently for those 15 days...but after hearing nothing from him, I decided to just go in. Of course, he had no idea who I was, but insisted that he tried to contact me twice to let me know it was in (which of course he hadn't, and I have the darn phone records to prove it). It was sitting ON HIS DESK!!! He tried to put the blame solely on Asten (Asten, I hope you get to read this), however, Jim had told me back in December that he was handling it from here on out. He even tried to insist that I should only try to speak with him and not Mr. Brubaker because Mr. Brubaker would be impossible to get a hold of (something that the receptionist proved was a lie, since she said that Mr. Brubaker-the president- was hardly ever in, but his son, Mr. Brubaker-the general manager, and Jim's boss I presume-was typically in early most days and could be contacted rather easily). Mr. Brubaker, I hope you get to read this as well. That is why I would not recommend this dealership. Very lousy experience. We do not intend to go back. More

An internet listing for a used vehicle brought me into Champion Ford; the listing was so new that it was not out on the lot yet. Andrew, the sales consultant, did a fantastic job of making the vehicle ava Champion Ford; the listing was so new that it was not out on the lot yet. Andrew, the sales consultant, did a fantastic job of making the vehicle available for me to look at and answered all of my questions. When I returned the same evening for the test drive, the used sales manager Jim was also extremely friendly and courteous. There were a couple issues with the vehicle which Jim promptly took care of before I purchased. Jim also offered a fantastic deal on my trade-in which was above my expectations. My only complaint--and it is a minor one--is that the "detailing" job the service crew did on the vehicle was hap-hazard at best, with "armor-all" pooled on the vinyl and in the plastic console. I realize part of that was probably because I looked at the vehicle before it was out on the lot, but it would have been nice if it could have been a little more "polished" before I took the vehicle home 24 hours later. Like I said, a minor issue but one that kept the Quality of Work category a four instead of a five. Overall, it was a pleasant, hassle-free buying experience with great work by Andrew and Jim. I just purchased the vehicle today, so time will tell if it was a quality buy (as it is with any used vehicle), but the customer service I experienced is enough for me to encourage anyone to go to Champion Ford. More
