2016 TRANSIT VAN PURCHASED FROM CHAPMAN MOUNTVILLE PA. Commerical account E40163 Invoice # 414412 06/05/19. 8 am appointment - arrived, at check in battery check, service adviser said needed new battery. I Commerical account E40163 Invoice # 414412 06/05/19. 8 am appointment - arrived, at check in battery check, service adviser said needed new battery. I contested the report, a mechanic tested and the battery was excellent. When making appt i was told should be done in about 1.5 hrs. Went across Mnheim pk to do scale service work. No call from Chapman, call them at 1:30 from the Arconic parking area. Ask if van was finished, service adviser told me that it was on the lift...i could see that the van was still sitting in the parking lot. I was deliberately misled by the adviser. I ask how long till done, told me about .5 to 1 hr, Finished work at Arconic, went to get van and it was not done. It was not until 2:45 pm when it was finished. I spoke to Scott McMann and he assured me that my experience was not typical…cold comfort after 06/05 “experience” More
