Checkered Flag Hyundai was my third stop on my list of dealerships to find a used car and so far I had only met with salesmen that tried to talk me out of a used car I was interested in and into buying a new car well above my price range. My first car buying experience wasn't off to a great start, so by time I had reached Checkered Flag Hyundai my excitement was starting to drain. I was lucky enough to be paired with Geoff to find my next car and he was able to change the way I viewed buying a car. I came into the office with a defined idea on what car I wanted on a limited budget and I never once felt that I was being pushed into a car I didn't want or a budget I couldn't afford. Service department lacks professionalism My experience with Checkered Flag Hyundai World service department was less than ideal. I made an appointment to have my car serviced first thing Tues My experience with Checkered Flag Hyundai World service department was less than ideal. I made an appointment to have my car serviced first thing Tuesday morning, and did a Monday night drop off. I called multiple times Tuesday morning to follow up and was assured that my car was being serviced. At 1pm, I received a call saying that my car had not yet been looked at and that I had a new service representative who would take care of me. Later that evening, I was told that the parts for my car's repair would arrive Wednesday and that it would be completed Thursday. The parts didn't arrive on Wednesday, but instead of keeping me apprised of my car's status, it took me calling multiple times Thursday evening to find out that the parts wouldn't arrive until Friday. On Saturday, they told me my car repair was complete and that it was available for pickup. When I picked up my car, they again assured me that the repairs were complete, but the next day the airbag light was on again signifying the issue had not been resolved. I dropped my car off again on a Thursday, and called to find out the status on Friday. They told me they would call me back shortly. They did not call me back until the following Wednesday. The issue with my car has still not been fixed, and I spoke with a manager about the less than professional service I received. He assured me that he would bring my concerns up with their general manager and that the general manager would give me a call. No surprise that it has now been a week since I was told the general manager would call me, and I still have not heard from him. I would not recommend the service department of Checkered Flag Hyundai World. Not only was my time disrespected, but I was not treated as a valued customer. The lack of follow up is a major and consistent concern, and I would strongly recommend not bringing your car here for any service issue that cannot be completed in one visit. More

In my experience at Hyundai she helped me buyout my Elantra, which I had been leasing. She was able to explain everything to me in terms I could grasp and understand. She was able to lower my monthly payment by $40 (would have been $60, but I got an extended warranty, gap coverage, and a couple other packages) and helped me to buy this car on my own with no co-signer. This was a huge deal to me because I am a college student and do not have much credit history. Also I recently needed help handling finances with Hyundai Motor Finance and she helped me to fax my documents and even checks back with me follow up that my needs were met. I highly recommend going to her for your car needs! More
