Outstanding Service Experience Brayner was my service representative this time. He welcomed me like family and treated me with thoughtfulness and respect. My warning light problem w Brayner was my service representative this time. He welcomed me like family and treated me with thoughtfulness and respect. My warning light problem was not easy to diagnose promptly. Due to other obligations and my late afternoon arrival, we decided it might be best for me to leave the car and head back home, possibly waiting until the next day for pickup. Always kind and eager to serve Oscar gave me a ride. The next day I came in and picked up the car that needed a diesel related fix. Car drives perfectly and service experience was great. I first bought a VW there in 1999. I switched to a Mazda somewhere down the line and then bought another VW when my service coordinator moved back to VW. Now I have another VW and will continue buying them there as long as the service team stays. Even the mechanics are friendly and efficient when I encounter them. Best service team ever! More

Dealer prices, amateur work quality. Concerning Service. I went in for some routine maintenance. Oil change, balance and rotate, alignment along with requesting a quick look at a coup Concerning Service. I went in for some routine maintenance. Oil change, balance and rotate, alignment along with requesting a quick look at a couple of problems. First off: They refused to even give me a ballpark estimate on fixing remote entry, but seemed to know the two things it could possibly be. All I wanted to know before paying for a diagnosis was the worst case scenario, yet even this was refused. Second: I asked about a rusty hinge. I wanted to know what it would take to fix it. They said they'd get back to me, yet you never gave me a price, even though you treated this as part of a diagnostic, only to tell me exactly what I relayed to you. I said “One of the bearings on the door hinge is rusty and seized” What I got back was exactly that, and somehow, I ended up paying for it, even though I never received a quote on what it would take to fix it. Third: on the balance/rotate. They were unable to remove my wheel lock nuts, even after the mechanic notified me that he "could remove anything" after we determined I didn’t have the lock socket. Furthermore I wasn’t informed that this work would not be done until I came in to pick up the vehicle. This was after you had the vehicle for almost two days. There was a conversation that led me to believe it would be finished, then no further updates on it until I was told to come pick up the car. Fourth: The mechanic broke the wires leading to my amplifier that was seated in the cargo compartment. He then left the bare wires on the floor of the cargo compartment without even doing as much as disconnecting the fuse. I didn’t find this out until last night. So I was driving around with live 50 amp wires that could at any point come in contact with one-another. That sounds like a fun fire hazard. Now I have to dig up my tools and re-connect the sheered wires myself. Good thing I actually understand how the thing works. I can imagine a scenario where someone had someone else install an amp, and if they ran into the same issues with your techs, they’d have to take it to another shop to get fixed and be out even more money. When I go to a dealership, I expect the absolute best service I can possibly receive. In my mind, the $161/hr labor charge is worth it when you can be absolutely sure that the work will be completed correctly, and without introducing new problems. In this case, the reality is far, far, far from what my expectations rightfully are. This is the kind of workmanship I would expect from a teenager trying to earn some extra cash by fixing someone’s car, not the kind that demands the same labor price as a professional engineer. On the balance/rotate: Don’t promise what you can’t fulfill. Furthermore, how do you not have a set of wheel lock sockets? I see a 16 piece set going for 75 bucks on Amazon. Your techs should have the tools required to do any job. That’s why you command such a high labor price. Now I have to spend more of my time to bring my car to yet another place to actually get the job done, when you should have been able to do it. Now I’m out the extra cost in labor, along with, much more importantly, time. More
