Purchased my leased car I leased my 2015 Tiguan for 4 years and decided to purchase the car. I was approved for an auto loan through a bank, which who I was going to go with. I leased my 2015 Tiguan for 4 years and decided to purchase the car. I was approved for an auto loan through a bank, which who I was going to go with. However, the process of finalizing the lease buy-out with the bank and VW Credit (They are separate from the dealership.) was awful, more so from the bank's side. I spent 2 days speaking with both parties; each time was over 2 hours. I decided to go directly to VW Autobarn Evanston where I had leased the car. I should have started here. Xavier Rios greeted me immediately and offered his assistance. He patiently listened to my situation and quickly starting working on the process. He and his co-worker had a solution for me within less than an hour! I purchased the car and feel very confident that Xavier and the VW Autobarn Evanston will continue to offer quality service whenever I go back. More

30K service Have had service at three different VW dealerships across the US as we have relocated over the past three years. Each has provided excellent service. We did not purchase our vehicle at the Autobarn in Evanston but he Autobarn was the best of the best. The entrance to the Service Dept. is not as prominent from the street as at other dealerships. I parked and walked into the showroom to get direction. The general manager greeted me and walked me over to the service door so that I clearly understood how to gain entry. Once inside the service area, I was greeted by Terrence, the service representative, who was both personable and knowledgeable. Our 2016 Touareg has very low mileage--less than 4K miles--ironically, we have transported the Touareg more miles than we have driven it., Our annual service was due. Since we have recently relocated to the area, Terrence welcomed us to the dealership, created a new client profile, reviewed our previous services, and recommended the three year/30K servicing under our service contract. The car was promptly serviced and washed and dried with care. This was a very satisfying experience from the showroom to the service department. More
