Cash grab and outrageous quote for work I did not request I purchased a used VW Tiguan. The dealership I bought it from did not check or include the wheel lock key so I had to go to the dealership to either p I purchased a used VW Tiguan. The dealership I bought it from did not check or include the wheel lock key so I had to go to the dealership to either purchase a key or have the locks removed. Since VW doesn't sell older keys, I had to have the locks removed. To have the locks removed and to put replacement lug nuts was $70. Seems excessive, but inline with dealership visits. Because my VW had a brake indicator light on, they said, "we noticed the light we looked into that". I said that is not necessary, just remove the locks. They insisted to check into the light. They came back with a cost of over $700 to replace the brake harness. I left and went and got two other quotes from recommended mechanics and both came back under $300 for the work. So you can guess where I won't go to get work done on my VW. More

THEY BEAT THE COMPETIION BY A LONG SHOT THE DEALER GAVE ME MUCH MORE IN TRADE-IN THAT THE COMPETITION. THE SALES PRICE WAS MUCH LOWER THT THE COMPETITION..
