A good experience We bought a used Subaru Outback way back in 2006 from Mark Lidano and came back this year to buy a 2015 Forester. I test drove it against the 2015 Out We bought a used Subaru Outback way back in 2006 from Mark Lidano and came back this year to buy a 2015 Forester. I test drove it against the 2015 Outback, the Honda CRV, and a Nissan Rogue, returning several times for test drives with and without my spouse. Mark was patient, easy to talk to, and helpful in answering questions and considering all sorts of options, which made the process of buying a car much more pleasant than expected. As a nice bonus, he had a sense of humor, too. The larger team at Cityside seems personable, friendly, and fairly low-key in terms of pressure, which we also appreciated. There's not a lot of give on price for Subarus in our area, but we wound up feeling good about the price we we paid and what we got for it. More

If you are looking to get the best price without having the whole "I have to go check with my manager" 10 times that you get at most dealerships then go to citywide and see Mark! I almost forgot John in finance who was honest and upfront, explained the process for financing and made buying the car a quick experience, its just a bonus that he is also a "car guy". More

2011 Subaru Outback - used My wife and I showed up around 7pm on a weeknight and were greeted by multiple people at the dealership; all were extremely friendly but not pushy. We had previously driven some Subaru cars and narrowed our search to the outback and within 45 minutes Tom had us in and out of 3 cars for test drives. That evening we made an offer on the 2011 Outback and couldn't be happier with the car and process. Tom with friendly, flexible, and informative about the process. There were a couple of tune up items the dealership and Tom even were willing to do for me free of cost a week after I bought the car. This is our first Subaru and if we buy another it will be from Cityside and from Tom DAlessandro. The entire experience was fun, exciting, and got us in the car at the price we had hoped. More

New Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited Let me start off by saying: I hate car-shopping; but, such is life that I had to bite the bullet and start the process. Like many of the other reviews on here, I sent out various emails and received more phone calls than I knew what to do with. To make things easier on me, I decided to go with the convenient route and head to the closest dealership, which was Cityside. I'm so glad that I did. I met with Tom who respected the fact I had done ample research and also compiled a quote that I felt was a fair price. Never during the process did he try to sell me on add-ons or questionable items and I really appreciated that. I felt that Tom also advocated for the price I wanted and that he would have regardless what price I named - whether or not it was ultimately accepted. Overall, Tom and the crew at Cityside made my experience great and I will be recommending them to friends and family - all of whom are lifetime Subaru drivers. Even if Cityside is out of the way, I highly recommend making the trip if you're thinking about buying a new car. More

I actually purchased the car on my first visit to the dealership after some email correspondence and found the whole experience enjoyable. I probably only spent 15 minutes in the dealership. Think about that for a minute. Why would I purchase a new STI so easily? I knew the vehicle I wanted which helped for sure, but also the way Tom deals with his clients is to help them get the car they need/want with the least hassle possible and the upper management team put together a fair price for the vehicle and value on my trade. I also spent time with Michael who also exhibited an honest, straightforward, pleasant, and likable personality and made a fair finance deal and what I believe to be a very reasonable 7 yr 100K warranty package for me. Michael even thanked me personally for choosing the extended warranty; I informed him that I chose it because the deal was fair but it was a very respectful and kind gesture to thank me for my business. I have also purchased some accessories from the parts department and so far the team there has been prompt and helpful and pleasant to do business with as well.. After the sale, I am welcomed to the dealership with any requests or questions and I get the sense that Tom and Michael and likely the rest of the team there are interested in building excellent customer service for years to come.
