He did his very best to accommodate me in every way and remembered what I said from one visit to the next - a rare quality! I feel like I got a good deal on the exact car that I wanted and didn't have to haggle over the price, which I greatly appreciate! We asked for Peter si My wife wanted a smaller vehicle so we went back to Cityside to look at a CrossTrak after buying our Forester there 3 years ago. We asked for Peter since he worked with us on our last purchase and he had always stayed in touch with post cards, notes, a holiday card with his own photography (he is a gifted professional photographer). We went in thinking we knew the specs we wanted but Peter asked a few questions and homed in on our needs within 30 seconds. Working with Peter was like seeing an old friend. He knew our kids, knew our preferences for add-ons, and remembered all the details of our last visit from 3 years earlier. We asked for a little more on the trade in and a little less on the Crosstrak and felt like Peter advocated on our behalf with management. Cityside has improved some of their back office processes so we were able drive off with the right car after two short visits. Peter takes his profession as a dealer seriously but doesn't take himself too seriously. He doesn't sell, he asks questions and advises and you get the sense that if the car wasn't right for you he wouldn't try to sell you. Cityside is a great business but Peter would get our business where ever he works. More

No sneaky dealership games. Straightforward and honest. I decided that I wanted a 2015 STI at the tail end of June 2014. I sent out the usual number of emails and received a bunch of phone calls. I then proceeded to spend the day speaking with various people and getting "their absolute best price". Late in the day I got a call from Tom who cut right to the chase and gave me a price that beat everyone else. He didn't try to mark down my trade or say that I had to go over MSRP to get the car I wanted. He did not push me into getting a car that they had in stock because he knew the specifics that I wanted. Within 20 minutes of entering the dealership I signed an order for a new 2015 STI. No hassle about my trade and no hidden tactics. Not only did Tom make the initial order pleasant, he then put up with my incessant emails about my order status for the next 2 months. He kept me in the loop whenever anything happened and always responded promptly to my questions. Tom and the whole Cityside staff has made this purchase the best experience I have had to date in any car dealership. That includes Nissan, BMW and Volkswagon dealerships. I'm pointing anyone looking for a subaru their way. Both Tom and John own WRXs of various years and that made me even more comfortable since they are of the same mentality as I am when it comes to cars. Made the entire experience much less of a business transaction and more of a friendly transaction. If I ever lose enough of my sanity to pick up a BRZ in addition to my STI then I will head right on back to Cityside! More
