I had a very easy experience here, they worked with me through the whole process, following up with me and everything. I would recommend it to anyone. through the whole process, following up with me and everything. I would recommend it to anyone. More
Why? because this was my 3rd car I bought from Cityside Subaru. I like to be a customer of Sityside Subaru because of high Customer Service, excellent Quality of Work, very friendly and nice. Peter Rosenberg is very knowledgeable, very skillfull. The way he introduces a new car is very professional. He makes the customer happy with the purchase. I know my visit to Sityside Subaru always means a minimum time with the maximum satisfaction. Thank you all, thank you Peter, Dan - the supervisor. More

I took three solo test drives-first in a Forester and then two in an Outback, the brand I ultimately bought. John explained the merits and workings of each car very clearly, but did not try to influence my decision in any way. One aspect of car buying I do not like is this "I'll have to speak to my manger first". I do not blame John for this--it seems to be a game that all car dealers indulge in. But ultimately, I think I got a fair price after a few such consultations with his manager. Another minor peeve is the effort by the business manager to sell one an extended warranty or service contract. No means no, although in fairness to Donald Ratcliffe he didn't push as hard as others have. Again on a positive note picking up the car was a breeze--Citiside took care of the registration and inspection and after John had finished showing me once again how everything worked, off I drove in my brand new shiny red Outback. Peter was very honest and straight forward with me, allowing me to take a test drive unsupervised ( very nice ). I appreciated his friendly attitude and help with deciding on my purchase. John was very helpful and found me the car I wanted with minimal hassle. The team did a great job of explaining everything about the car and lease. Would definitely go back for another Subaru. minimal hassle. The team did a great job of explaining everything about the car and lease. Would definitely go back for another Subaru. More
Peter was the best car salesman we've ever worked with. He was personable, funny, knowledgeable, available, and responsive. He spent unhurried time with us on two occasions, answered emails and phone calls, and made the total experience as painless as possible. We would have bought the Forester except that we decided to lease a Volvo sedan. The comparison at the end of the day was 'apples and oranges'. He did a fine job presenting the product and the dealership and we will definitely return when we are car shopping to replace our other car in 3 years. More
After I posted many complaints Joe Cisek called me and apologized. He simply could not understand how I had fallen through the cracks. He said there is an elevator at the dealership and three waiting rooms so I need not have been cramped into the small TV room where I stayed for an extended period of time waiting for my oil change. He will invite me to the future new buyers clinic and tries to invite all new customers. He was surprised I did not have a full tour of the dealership when I purchased and picked up my car. He assured me that the dealership has many loyal customers and asked for a chance to build a relationship with me and offered to make a number of concessions. Yes I will return and give them a chance. My car has only 4000 miles and is only a few months old so I will be needing service for many years to come. I was glad he called me, and feel it is unfortunate that I did not meet him any of the three times I patronized the dealership 1 when I arranged to buy the car and completed paperwork 2 when I picked up the car 3 when I took it for the first servicing I will return soon for a full tour and start from square one to know the employees there. Peter breaks all stereotypes of a car salesman. He is refreshingly eccentric, charming, and a pleasure to work with. I recently purchased my first Subaru from Cityside. I can not say enough about how positive my experience was and how much I appreciated this. Cityside made buying a car not only easy but ENJOYABLE. I was ab not say enough about how positive my experience was and how much I appreciated this. Cityside made buying a car not only easy but ENJOYABLE. I was able to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted and not feel as though I was jerked around (at all). I am very pleased with my car and with my experience so far with Cityside. They were very responsive and professional through the buying process and have made sure to check in on me since I purchased the car to see if I am still happy with it. Customer service is very important to me and I can tell it is to Cityside as well. More
I came into the dealership with certain car in mind - a WRX. Mark showed me some WRX's, but asked me a few specific questions about why I wanted that car. Turns out the WRX wasn't right for me at all (I WRX. Mark showed me some WRX's, but asked me a few specific questions about why I wanted that car. Turns out the WRX wasn't right for me at all (I don't want a car requiring premium gas). Mark asked me some more questions, helped me figure out a couple of options that were right for me (Impreza Sport and Crosstrek). Showed me those alternatives also. I went away for a month, during which there was an e-mail or two asking if I had any questions, but no major pestering. I researched. Came in a month later and took a test drive on a Crosstrek. I had researched - had a dollar figure from kbb that was below invoice (I was buying a 2013 in Oct 2013). I wrote the kbb figure on a piece of paper. Mark went away, came back and said "Congratulations, you're a new car owner". No dickering nonsense. Do have one minor regret - when it was time to close the deal, I was sent to discuss extended warranties, etc. with the business manager. I ended up purchasing a "Cityside Special" package: pre-paid regular maintenance for 36 mo + 36 mo extended warranty. I accepted the first figure proposed by the business manager - $2000. In retrospect, realizing that the business manager wrote the $2000 figure by hand, I suspect I could have negotiated that down a bit. Oh well still seems like a good deal. One other caveat.... I chose to get aftermarket leather seats - look great! And aftermarket XMSirius satellite radio - piece of crap. Reception is bad. I've heard AM stations with better reception than this piece of junk. I do not recommend aftermarket XMSirius satellite radio. But the overall experience was very good, hence the positive rating. More
