The only car I've ever purchased was a used Jeep Grand Cherokee 10 years ago. Needless to say, car shopping isn't something I or most people often experience. The other thing that I'd say was very nice was their patience. We were really annoying buyers and they never seemed anxious or disinterested in us, we really liked that. We recently purchased a new 2014 Subaru Forester from Cityside Subaru. During the test drive, John Melvin allowed us to take the vehicle out by ourselves. We got to check out the vehicle to our satisfact Cityside Subaru. During the test drive, John Melvin allowed us to take the vehicle out by ourselves. We got to check out the vehicle to our satisfaction. There was no 'hard sell' that day, allowing us to go and check out other models/makes. During price negotiations (over the internet, which I prefer), Cityside was not the cheapest, but they were upfront about units in stock vs. those in transit (not the case with other dealerships). They did a price match that was close enough for us. Finally, during the sale, there were no last minute surprises, the paper work including insurance was flawless and quick. Afterwards, John took us around to meet with the service manager and his team. All in all, a pleasant buying experience. I cannot speak to the service side yet of course. More

We went to browse at Cityside because they are local and had good reviews online. When we got there we were given a friendly greeting & were offered help if we needed it... and then were left to browse the had good reviews online. We then returned another day to speak w/ a sales person. Alex was fabulous- had a very informative, no-pressure approach and let us test drive w/out him in car. (Other well-reviewed dealerships were very pushy compared to Cityside.) We then returned about a week later & bought our 2013 Impreza hatchback. Alex was great throughout the entire process. Our pick-up landed on Alex's day off, so Peter helped us and made it a memorable & fun day! This is our first Subaru an dare looking forward to driving it for a long time. We plan to return to Cityside for service, etc. More
