We were in the market for a new Subaru Outback and headed over to City Side to see what they had to offer. Made it really easy to decide that this car was for us and this dealership would be the place to buy it. The finance team (Don and Mike) were excellent, they beat a financing rate that AAA had previously pre-approved us for. They clearly explained everything and didn't provide a 'hard sell' at any time. I initially went to Cityside because I was interested in a manual transmission Forester and they had more in stock than other dealerships in the area; I also had heard good things about Cityside from a co-w a manual transmission Forester and they had more in stock than other dealerships in the area; I also had heard good things about Cityside from a co-worker who purchased a few of her Subarus there over the years. John was great -- an extremely low pressure sales approach, but he still answered all of my questions and let me test drive multiple models (I ended up getting the 2014 Forester in a manual transmission). I also really appreciated that when John didn't know the answer to one of my questions, he acknowledged it and didn't try to make up an answer (which happened at a Honda dealership when I test drove a CRV). Instead, he found the answer for me. Negotiations were relatively painless, too - no haggling, which I just can't abide. I already had financing through AAA that beat Subaru's manufacturer's financing offer, and spoke to Don about the possibility of Cityside financing the loan instead. I told Don that if he beat AAA's rate, I'd finance through Cityside -- and he beat it by 1.0%. He presented various post-sale options (extended warranty, etc.), and I ended up selecting the pre-paid maintenance plan. When I went to pick up my car, John was incredibly helpful -- he reviewed keys, manuals, warranties, etc. and helped me set up the bluetooth so I could use the handsfree feature with my phone. He also gave me a tour of the service department and introduced me to the manager there. Overall, the entire process was easy and relatively stress-free. So far, I am loving my new Forester! More

The crew at Cityside made our car buying experience pleasant and painless. I was dreading buying a new car - the pressure, the haggling, the buyer's remorse - but none of those things happened at Citys pleasant and painless. He let us spend plenty of time test driving cars, he was frequently ready at a moment's notice to review our options and, when the time came, to help us close the deal on a new Forester. The final part of our sale took place with Don Ratcliffe who guided us through the paperwork with an expert hand and answered all of our questions - again without stress. He presented the the post-sale options (like an extended warranty) but let us take our time thinking about what we wanted to do rather than pushing for a sale on the spot. Car-wise, Cityside had a great selection (there are more cars downstairs!) and we had no problem finding a very close match to the vehicle we configured and priced out online.
