I did my due diligence and knew what I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. I was extremely happy with the way I was treated. Glen recognized that I was an educated buyer and treated me as such. He was very patient and honest. Each person I dealt with was professional, friendly, and respectful. I have dealt with many dealerships over the years... and NONE can compare to Cityside. Other dealerships (and businesses) should take note and use their customer service model! I HIGHLY recommend Cityside!!! More
I had always owned Toyotas; however, last fall when the time came to buy a new car, I wanted a hatchback, and Toyota's offering was a small SUV. I did a lot of on-line research and talked to friends and decided that a Subaru Impreza was the car for me. One of my friends had bought her Impreza several years ago at Cityside and recommended the dealership (as well as the Impreza), so I went in one afternoon. Peter was the salesman called over to work with me. I told him I was interested in a 2012 Impreza; he responded that I was more likely to find Bigfoot than find a 2012 Impreza. I like people who don't mince words and I like people with a sense of humor, so Peter was the ideal salesperson for me. The rest of my experience with Cityside and Peter was just as easy and enjoyable. Peter listened to what wanted and made suggestions, but never pressured me (the same was true of Don Ratcliffe, who answered all my questions about warrantees clearly and promptly). I suspect that Peter gets along with most people (and probably sells a lot of cars) because he is so genuine and spontaneous. I have recommended Peter and Cityside to friends because of my experiences, and I will continue to do so. More
Went in for a GPS issue, I like the fact that they stay open on Saturdays til 4pm. Bryan took care of me at the front desk, came look for me at the waiting room when it was my turn. After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one prolonged 'discussion' at another dealership (where the salesman would take our counteroffers/que After weeks of research , a ton of emails, and one prolonged 'discussion' at another dealership (where the salesman would take our counteroffers/questions in to some phantom sales manager's office only to return with yet another counter counter-offer), we narrowed down our choices to two dealerships to purchase a Subaru Outback for my wife. One was in NH, the other was Cityside. Both were winnowed from research done through Consumer Reports online "Build & Buy" program (highly recommend). Edmonds has a similar service which is also very good. Long story short, we never made it to NH and bought an Outback Premium within a half hour of arrival. The negotiations were relaxed and, more importantly, face to face with Rob Krasow and Aleksey. Michael and Nelson were also low key and helpful as initial, and then final, paperwork was completed. We had a trade in, and perhaps could have made more money on it, especially through a private sale, but to avoid the hassle of the latter and because Cityside's offer was justifiably fair (plus the equally fair price on the Outback itself), we felt it was an overall good deal for us. Pickup was uneventful, and Aleksey spent approximately an hour with us going over key sections of the various manuals, and in the car itself to highlight its principal features. Overall, it was as pleasant and uneventful a car purchase as one could hope for, and we would highly recommend Cityside. More

Peter gave us very useful information about the models we were interested and the price negotiation process went smoothly that we reached a happy medium at the end! The day we picked up our car, everything was taken care of. Don from the financing department went through all the details of the workpapers with us, so that we fully understood the terms and conditions. Peter went over all the details of the booklets and all things that we needed to know about the Forester with us thoroughly. After that, Peter showed us our new car inside-out from setting up our bluetooth to little detail like opening the gas tank door. I also want to thank Peter for his great patience with me since I asked him so many questions. We were very much taken care of! We felt very comfotable talking with Peter and he really provided us with the best customer service and it was such a pleasure working with him. Peter also followed up with us within a week we picked up our car to make sure that we are happy with it or if we have any questions. We are very impressed with Peter's exceptional service and the dealership. We will definitely recommend our friends and family to visit CitySide Subaru in the future. Sales: Ordered car from them. Car arrived, sales guy said he called me for 3 days straight and couldn't get a hold of me, turns out he said he got my initial contact info wrong, so I asked tell me what's wro he called me for 3 days straight and couldn't get a hold of me, turns out he said he got my initial contact info wrong, so I asked tell me what's wrong with it, he said he deleted my profile.... ???? deleting a customer's profile, great move. Service: Obviously got my car somewhere else, but wanted to try them for service since they are the closest. Told them I need snow tires mounted on another set of rims and then put onto my car. So we got a scheduled date. I prepared for a whole week for this: need to get my youngest brother who just got his license half a year ago to tail me with 8 items (tires & rims) in the station wagon all the way from Boston to Belmont. Got there successfully and dropped off the items, thought everything's gonna be smooth. Got the call not 10 minutes later that they don't want to do this job because of potential scratching on the rims??? WTH? why schedule the appointment and make me do all this effort of getting there to tell me "NO GO"??!! Went to Subaru of Wakefield, got the service done. No hassle. More
