He was patient and worked with me to solidify a fantastic deal. Don made it very easy to schedule a test drive and follow-up appointment. He was knowledgeable when it came to the different models and was able to thoroughly answer all of my questions. He spent a lot of time with me to show me all the ins and outs of the car when I went to pick it up. Throughout the whole process, I did not feel I had to worry about anything because I knew Don would take care of it. I highly recommend CitySide to anyone! I love my new car and have never been happier about a purchase! More

When I came back with my wife to show her the car, he let us take it for a second test ride. Everyone there was knowledgeable and courteous. I gave them a 4 rating on quality of work, because of the tire pressures on the new car. All of the tires were within 5 psi of where they should have been, but none of them matched what it said on the sticker stuck to the door sill. On the front there was a 4 psi difference left to right and the average pressure in the rear was higher than in the front. This was probably as good a performance as I've ever had on a new car but I feel I need to mention it because it's easy to fix, (took me 15 minutes), and it's critical to the performance of the car. Aside from the tire pressures, the car was prepared perfectly. More

We looked at a Saturn, Ford, Nissan, and Toyota, but settled on a Subaru after talking to friends and reading consumer reports. We had such bad experiences at other dealers - from folks who wouldn't stop calling to folks who would never call us back - it was a breath of fresh air to work with a dealership that was courteous and responsive. Everyone at the dealership from the sales manager to the sales people to the guy who answers the phone is really nice. Mark was the best salesperson we worked with - he answered our question, put up with my husband's bad sense of humor and was totally up front. The negotiation process was over in less than 30 minutes. We are loyal Cityside customers from now on and will definitely go back to them in the future. More

In addition they always dealt with me courteously and didn't hesitate to take time to explain problems and solutions. I should say that the Subaru involved here really didn't give me any significant problems over the 10 yrs I had it. When I decided to part with my old car and upgrade to a new Outback the experience I had with service continued into the showroom. My salesman, Mark Lidano, was very informative and took me on the best test drive I've experienced. He actually suggested several maneuvers for me to check the handling and frequently asked what I thought of it. We drove the car long enough and in enough different situations so that I could get a good sense of how the car handled. He thoroughly explained all the particulars of the car. When it came time to negotiate a price, Mark was very fair and reasonable, and I eventually drove away in my new Outback as a satisfied buyer. Now I'm looking forward to continuing my good service experience at Cityside once again. More

My 2009 Forester is the second Subaru I have owned. I purchased my first one at Cityside Subaru 10 years ago and always had it serviced there. When it was time to get a new car, I never looked anywhere else. My Outback Station Wagon had been wonderful, especially in the ice and snow, and the service department was great. I only had to decide between the Outback Station Wagon and the Forester. Mark Lidano was very helpful and patient in solving this nonproblem. He was very knowledgeable about both cars and very thorough about test drives. The whole experience was a pleasure. I've had my new car for a week, and I'm very happy with it - great huge sunroof! When I visit City Side was trying to decide between 3 different small SUVs. I had test driven a Forrester before but the drive I took with Mark was by far the most informative and beneficial test drive different small SUVs. Mark highlighted the features of the Forrester well asking me to take a sharp turn at 30-40 mph so I could feel the lack of body roll, taking me on bumpy roads so I could fell the suspension and asking me to drive on the highway to see how the SUV accelerated/responded. Mark answered all my (and my husband’s) questions; asked questions of his own and offered thoughtful points to consider. Mark was genuine, honest and extremely helpful. Mark’s supervisor told me a dealer’s job was not to sell cars but to educate people on the cars they were thinking about buying; I can attest that Mark abided by this motto. I came back the next week to buy the Forrester and the buying process was smooth and easy. The only “issue” I encountered was when the horizontal cross bars were being installed, grease got on the interior roof of the car. I pointed this out and they cleaned it up right away. I would recommend this dealer and I would go back to Mark to buy another car. More

When I went to sign the paper work I was harassed by the finance person multiple times to buy an extended warranty. I was offended mostly because she wasted my time and repeatedly gave me a hard sell after I firmly told her I wasn't interested. The price of my vehicle was fair, even though they increased the price by $500 over the phone after a verbal agreement in the showroom. More

In general, the staff are very friendly and the dealership is very clean and professional. As I just bought my car, I have not had any interaction with the service or parts department. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Subaru. More
