A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Sales for these corporations now total just under $2 billion annually, making the Wilson Automotive Group one of the ten largest dealership chains in the nation.

The advisor sold me a service of fuel injection that my car didn't need at the time so he can meet his quota. Going to a dealership, you never know what you are going to get. If you are going to get a salesman who just wants to make a sale or an honest person who really wants to help you. Unfortunately, I had the to get. If you are going to get a salesman who just wants to make a sale or an honest person who really wants to help you. Unfortunately, I had the first option going in. The first rep did not really listen to me, I didn't feel comfortable, nor was her personable. I was ready to walk out with no car and major disappointment, especially since I had just purchased another car a few month prior to my visit. Luckily, as we walked out, Richard came and spoke to us. He was honest, kind, and helpful. He gave us the information straight and even helped us to work out our deal. I am thankful that he stepped in and not only did he help us to get in a monthly range that we wanted but he also recognized our loyalty to their dealership. I would definitely recommend Claremont Toyota to my family and send them directly to Richard for a no haggle, honest deal. More
