Candance did help me out with a recall but as soon as she left and I was called to pick up my car. I was wrongly charged for a recall for my Toyota Yaris airbags when I went to pick up my car. The cashier did not explain to me why I was charged despite it saying I was there for a recall and even someone else who worked there was trying to get me to pay for it as well because I couldn't pay it in full. But thankfully I called back and wanted clarity on why I was charged because I wanted to ask Candace or whoever was in charge of recalls. But over the phone they were like oh we messed up you weren't supposed to be charged, thankfully they were nice and returned my money to me. However, I honestly wished it did not happen in the first place. They were very polite though. More

I’ll probably start getting my vehicle serviced at Longo, where I bought it. On this visit, I had Kevin as my advisor. How we, he was less than honest. I went in for the 20k service as well as having an issu where I bought it. On this visit, I had Kevin as my advisor. How we, he was less than honest. I went in for the 20k service as well as having an issue with the radio screen blacking out and an incident where the blower motor for the A/C got real loud and then stopped working. I recorded it and SHOWED VIDEO to Kevin. At the end of the service, Kevin told me that it the tech found an aftermarket filter installed wrong, which may have caused the motor to stop working. I told him that it was a Bosch hepa filter to help with allergies and it wasn’t installed wrong, but if that was the case, simply reinstall it as it was only a few months old. He said that it had been thrown away and replaced and he didn’t want to take it out of the trash to reinstall. I asked if they had the carbon filter Toyota makes as I wanted that as a replacement. He said they didn’t. Not sure why you would throw away a new filter. So when I got my vehicle back, the paperwork stated that I stated that the blower motor wasn’t working and they couldn’t duplicate it. It failed to mention that I’d provided video showing the blower not working. The story also changed as he reported that it had a clogged filter. Again, the filter was only a few months old and if it was clogged, why didn’t Kevin show me the filter. I would’ve asked to see it if that was his original story. But I guess that can’t be verified since he threw it away. Update 12/8/2022 I spoke with Janeth Mestas in their Customer Relations Department. She took the time to listen to me in order to address my concerns, and attempted to make amends for the horrible experiences I’ve had with Claremont Toyota. I would definitely give her 5 stars for her effort as she’s truly committed to Claremont Toyota’s customers. Thank you Janeth. More
Waited 3 hours and the regular maintenance on my vehicle still had not started. So, I decided to abandon my appointment. As a result, I still have one more regular scheduled maintenance on my extended still had not started. So, I decided to abandon my appointment. As a result, I still have one more regular scheduled maintenance on my extended maintenance agreement. Can I get reimbursed for that, as I don't intend to return for service there anytime soon.
