When the transmission on my Acura failed (suddenly, with absolutely no warning) I was stranded. And how. Anyone who has ever been in a pinch before (and so very many of us have these days) can tell you with absolutely no warning) I was stranded. And how. Anyone who has ever been in a pinch before (and so very many of us have these days) can tell you: That's when even tougher things seem to happen. Thankfully I was referred to Dell Roderick of Colonial Ford in Plymouth by, not only one of my co-workers, but also one of the most highly-regarded people in our community. I did not take the referral lightly and I discovered very quickly exactly why they were so well regarded. Nick Healy assured me I was in the right place, no matter how bad my situation seemed, and he introduced me to Glenn Smith who echoed the same. Glenn in particular was extremely understanding and kind as I answered a few questions for him and explained that I honestly couldn't imagine being a qualified candidate to buy a car from a dealership. He smilingly disagreed and, after suggesting I give him a chance to see what he might do to perhaps help, I agreed to let him try and left to return to work as my lunch break was over. At the time I could hardly have felt lower ... but at least everyone was nice. When Glenn called me a couple of short hours later, I can only describe my reaction as complete disbelief. He told me he felt he had the perfect solution and asked that I return to Colonial Ford as soon as I could and he would share it with me. When I got there he brought me directly over to a sharp, shiny, pre-owned (surprisingly) Ford Fusion, that would likely be averaging about 40mpg (which it does) and said that they thought that this would be exactly what I needed. (And it is!) I still can't believe my luck. Not only did I get a really great car, but I got a VERY excellent price on it. That alone wasn't something I expected at a car dealership. Ever. I also got some of the best financing and coverage I've ever had. I still can't believe, not only how easy and nearly-effortless the entire affair was, but how positive and reassuring (as well as truthful and respectful) Dell and Glenn and everyone was. Because of you guys, all of you, I went from being in a very serious and difficult situation, to being in one of the best situations I've EVER been in. I simply can not thank all of you enough ... though I would like to add a special thank you to Glenn Smith who's compassion and confidence and even-keeled manner just made my experience about as flawless as you could ever imagine. Initially we had confusion during delivery of when and what accessories and inspections would be done. Over time communication cleared up and we were able o get everything take care of and I walked away w what accessories and inspections would be done. As always excellent service, courteous and professional staff. But a question, why don’t you provide a complimentary wash after the car is serviced. Most other dealers do.
