Good afternoon! Thank you for the feedback. I reviewed all of our recent Battery sales and didn't see anything out of line as far as price over the past few days. If you wouldn't mind calling me at your convenience, I'd be more than happy to talk to you about the pricing. Some Hyundai's use AGM batteries and they are far more expensive than your traditional cell batteries, thus, making the price substantially more. Unfortunately we can't change the requirement that Hyundai sets. Additionally, if you went to another location and they installed the incorrect battery, based solely on price, that could cause you more problems that just a bad battery. By no means do we charge arbitrary amounts, or price gouge, we check our pricing in the market every three months to ensure we are compliant in the marketplace. Please keep in mind that your replacement battery comes with a great warranty that is for good at any Hyundai dealership. Again, if you want to call me directly to discuss, I'd be happy to help.
