complete letdown 1-1-15 I purchased a 2012 vw gli and I signed and purchased the car and came to pick it up and the rims had been painted and I was not informed. I bought the car because I loved the way it was and the rims had been black and chrome and when I arrived they were silver. the salesman and manager informed there were scratches so they decided to paid which they did not discuss with me. they would not replace the rims. furthermore the paint started peeling off and I brought back 3 times before they finally had them painted and baked on. better but still not what I paid and wanted. then I brought the car in to have them painted and my doors had been damaged so they sent to car to be repaired. I returned to get car and noticed when I got home that the doors did not match I have metallic black and the new paint was just black and was clearly noticeable and they would not send back to have it fixed they said I would have to deal with the auto body shop. now I had brought the car in a year ago for noise in my rear end and felt a sway I was informed they could not find an issue and now I have 2 scalloped tires and a broken coil spring which I'm being told is not covered under my warranty they sold me for $2500 and a tire warranty I paid $1500 for. when I asked for help they said why don't I just trade it in since I don't like it which I feel is not ok to say. I don't feel I have asked for a lot just what I paid for. also I feel the need to state the employees I've dealt with have been pretty nice but that does not fix my car. More

Rude, even to a returning customer Came in ready to buy, no test drive even needed, and I have previously purchased a car here several years ago. Met with a long wait, lots of questions as to the what and why I wanted the model selected, then lots more waiting before finally getting a price and the manager tells me that MSRP was the best deal I would find anywhere, no willingness to move on price. Thanks but no thanks.... Miserable overall experience, my wife and left feeling pretty unhappy with the whole thing. So we quickly found the identical spec car at another dealer a week later, quickly agreed to $3k under sticker and bought it on the spot. So much for rewarding dealership loyalty. Will never use this dealer or recommend it again. More

I pretty much knew what I wanted with my new GTI, so it was a matter of fi First of all, let me say that Daniel and Josh were a pleasure to deal with. I pretty much knew what I wanted with my new GTI, so it was a matter of finding the car and pricing it out. They were prompt to address any concerns or questions, and made the process as pleasant as possible...Which is great, because after dealing with the finance guy for 5 minutes, I walked out of his office livid. It wasn't about securing financing or anything like that...it was his insistence that I buy the additional protection plans (that I'm sure he gets a cut of), and when I pointed out the fine print on one of the plans said something like 'dealer aftermarket parts', so in order for it to cover aftermarket items, they would have to be purchased at a dealer. To which his response was "you don't know what you're talking about. It's any aftermarket parts." So I simply said 'Well, I'm not saying that you're being dishonest, but what it says on that paper I would sign means a lot more than your word as far as the law is concerned.' He was the rudest and most unpleasant person from that moment on. No eye contact, frustrated hand gestures...don't think he said anything other than 'sign this'. I work in the service industry and I don't always get my way with clients. That doesn't mean that I become a complete xxx instantly. Other than finance, I really can't say enough good things about this dealer. This is my 3rd car from them, and everywhere from sales to service, the staff are awesome. Just put on your game face when you walk into finance. More

I purchased my 2013 Tiguan, which I absolutely love, back in September. Just the other day I had to come in to the VW Medford for a flat tire and Service Advisor Jodi Fantasia not only fit me in to service the car on the spot, but also organized for my 40k maintenance and oil change. She could not have been more accommodating and helpful, especially given a stressful situation. I continue to be impressed and very appreciative of the whole VW Colonial Medford team.
