I have been taking my time looking for a very good used VW Passat or Audi. Because I have had the luxury of not being in a hurry to buy, I've been able to explore options at multiple dealerships and priva VW Passat or Audi. I first went to Colonial VW in Westboro in late November to check out a few cars. I met Bobby Strickland, the sales associate, and got a sense that I liked him right away.....Sincere, frinedly and honest. I told him I was still going to look at other vehicles elsewhere. He did follow-up w/ me with a couple of phone calls in a friendly, non-pushy/non-aggressive way. I found that many of the other sales associate at other delerships were the typical sleezy car-salesmen that I could not trust. I recently went back to Bobby Strickland when I saw that he had a Passat in stock that seemed to be what I have been looking for including my color preference. We were able to work out what I feel is a very fair price and I was able to get a very good trade-in amount for my old car. I now have a beautiful 2007 Passat that looks and drives like new! I'm extremely pleased with this particular dealership and salesperson. Incidentally, it was my VW and Audi mechanic that had specifically told me that Colonial VW in Westboro tends to be a little more flexible on price negotiations compared to others such as VW in Welleslay......He was right. More

We worked with Billy Strackman who worked hard to find us the car that we wanted to avoid having to wait 12-16 weeks for a factory-order. Billy was able to secure the exact car that we wanted from a San Diego dealership that was very reluctant to part with it, and covered the shipping costs. We were very pleased with the level of service we received. Everyone we dealt with at Colonial Westborough was very friendly, accomodating and helpful. We never felt like we were being "sold." Billy is extremely knowledgable of the car he sold us and provided a very helpful tutorial before we drove it off the lot. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a VW. More

Bought a new TDI Sportswagen from Bobby, who dealt with me directly and honestly over the phone. I did not buy my first VW from Colonial, but I did have my vehicle serviced there regularly. In fact, I was having my vehicle serviced when I happened to wander onto the sales floor to look at new vehicle my vehicle serviced there regularly. I did not really have any intention of buying that day, but the salesman Bobby found a way to put me into a new car. Impressively, he had it prepped and ready for delivery that same evening. I feel like I paid a fair price for the vehicle. I normally beat-up car dealers over price, and I never buy at the beginning of a new model year. I may have been able to get a marginally lower price had I waited or shopped around, but the positive relationship Colonial has built with me through the service and now sales departments, made me want to dispense with the effort and sign the paperwork. Follow-up with Bobby has been great. The folks at Colonial of Westborough are top notch, I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend. More

Bobby was a very good sales consultant. He answered the questions and I felt he knew exactly what he was talking about. I had to have the inspection sticker done in order to travel to Canade the next day s questions and I felt he knew exactly what he was talking about.
