I have not have the greatest experience with sales, and another service technician, however I will not go anywhere else but Colonial for service/routine maintainence because of Billy McGrath. He's always upfront, honest, hilarious, kind, and professional. He will bend of backwards as much as he can to help you. I've only been there a handful of times since moving from RI, but Billy M. made me feel like I have been going there for years; pretty much like family. I would highly recommend Colonial Service to anyone that needs their car fixed (big, or little) or even just routine maintanence done. You'll love Billy just as much as I do..so GO FIND OUT WHY! An unrepentant criminal enterprise with no redeeming value. Okay, my heart wasn't into it, but these sleezeballs went above and beyond to make sure they ripped me off good. They jacked up the price of the car and virtually stole my trade-in. Wouldn't you know a few months later the car is being advertised for $139/month LESS than I am paying. I wrote an email to VW customer service stating my case and how I had been scammed and they offered nothing except to forward my email back to the dealership. That email was promptly and thoroughly ignored. Then when the lease is up, they are offering a trade-up for AN Additional $10/month. And Volkswagen is completely apathetic and they are trying to steal more money from me. Now I am working with a lawyer and they are choosing to simply ignore her. We'll see after I contact the Attorney General's office. Save your money, your sanity and stress and steer clear of this criminal organization. More

I did not purchase my GTI from Colonial, however, it is the only dealership I will bring it to for service. The staff is highly professional, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly, namely Billy Mac and the only dealership I will bring it to for service. Whether it be for warranty service or a simple oil change, Bill would make sure that I had a ride (to and from) and would keep me informed of what was going on. Recently had my clutch replaced under warranty due to a faulty throw out bearing and they got my into a rental for a few days without a problem. I would highly recommend this dealership, as they alleviate any fears or hesitations you may have in regards to your car! More

The service team is the best I've ever experienced. They are all great but I specifically deal with one service representative in particular most every time...Bill Mcgrath. Bill always gets me in for service when it's easiest and most convenient for me--even on short notice! I always get updates regarding how the service is going and when my car will be ready and I get it with a smile and with laughs. And what's really cool is the fact that Bill has been there from the beginning (for me at least) and knowing your service rep for that long at the same dealership really instills a sense of trust that I wouldn't get anywhere else. I know the service I receive is always fair in price and that the job will be done correctly the first time. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Tim Barnes was extremely knowledgeable about all of the cars we looked at. He took the time to explain in great detail each car we looked at. I was visiting a friend in the area and I got a flat tire. I called on a Sunday and service was closed but I talked to Brendan on the phone and he gave me all the information and directions in order to tire. I needed my headlight replaced and had already bought the bulb but didn't have the tools to fix it. I called Colonial VW and the woman on the phone was very nice and told me to bring it right in. I went on my lunch break, was there under an hour and didn't have to pay for it! I was expecting some type of labor cost even though I already had the bulb. But they didn't charge me and even washed my car for me. It was a great experience and the man, Bill, I worked with was super friendly. I will definitely be going back for service in the future. More
