Finally left a dealership feeling good I was referred to Columbia Ford Kia by my mother who had previously had a positive experience there. I was feeling fairly hopeless with my current credit situation, after falling on some hard times a few years ago our credit took a hit, my wife and I make enough money now, but we were terrified with our score being what it was we were doomed to another round of buy-here pay-here 19% daily interest...but we thought we would try Columbia Ford first cause my mom said they could help. Without much hope I called and first spoke with Eric Gates (GM of the dealership) who assured me he would do everything he could to help me and my family, he told me he would put a trusted salesman in charge of me and my wife’s potential purchase. The salesman, Luis Serrano, was an extremely nice man, who I can genuinely say I never got the “stereotypical car salesman” feel from. My wife and I needed to buy 2 cars, and when we pulled into the dealership he had a few cars parked nearby that he showed us, all of which would have been great for us. After my wife and I looked a few cars over we asked Luis which combination of 2 cars we could get approved for and I can’t lie, we must’ve asked him 5 times “what about this?” “can we do this?” And he had to run back and talk to the finance manager each time and at no point did he seem annoyed at all the work he had to do for us. We settled on a 2017 Ford C-Max and 2017 Kia Rio. Both cars were in our price range, and the financing they were able to get us with our credit blew my mind. The ford they got us a 1.9%!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. The Kia was about a 10% which I was still more than happy with considering I was facing a 19+% if I had to go to a less than reputable dealership. I sincerely want to thank everyone at Columbia Ford for their help. For the first time in my life I walked out of a dealership feeling like I didn’t get taken advantage of. More

Wiper Fluid Not Filled All the stars go to Mike and the front office team for their help getting me in early and their friendly service. Otherwise the mechanic failed to fill windshield wiper fluid. Hard to trust what was completed if the easiest job isn't done right or at all. Also I usually go to the Kia dealership in East Hartford and they wash/vacuume my vehicle before returning it to me (returning it cleaner than when it was brought in). Neither were done here. More
