I believe the salesman should be knowledgeable about the vehicle you are coming in to see. We did give a few hour notice which would offer a salesperson some time to know about the vehicle we requested to s vehicle you are coming in to see. He was helpful while installing the car seats for the test drive as he was able to google how they should be installed while I was busy with the kids, (it’s a truck and they have woven loops for the anchor instead of a mounted bracket). At another dealership I probably would have given a lower star rating than a 4 but we bought a Ford at a Subaru dealership. He probably knows a lot about Subarus and just didn’t know much about F150’s. Still, I think if you’re going to sell them, take some time to know what you’re selling. He did allow me and the kids to stay in the truck while we were waiting on my husband to arrive for a test drive which was nice because the baby was asleep in the backseat. The finance guy was super nice. I liked that he seemed very upfront about everything and he even told us to go back to the dealership we bought our trade in at to cancel our warranties and get a refund. I never knew you could do that. We liked him. A separate interaction over the phone: post-purchase I had a question about a service advertised on the window sticker of the truck. When I called I was transferred around 3 times before talking to someone that finally knew the answer, which I appreciated, but he started out the call by saying “I was told you keep calling in…” That hit me the wrong way. No, I was not continually calling in, I was being transferred all over until finally speaking to you, sir. Maybe there are better ways to start a conversation with a customer who feels like they just keep getting handed off. If I could have just talked to our salesperson on that phone call, I probably would’ve gotten an answer quickly without any problem. Anyway, all-in-all, we would purchase from this dealership again. I have been going to Concordville Subaru for over 6 years since buying my car from them. They have always taken such great care of me. I recently had a strange electronic issue that required me to have a lot since buying my car from them. They have always taken such great care of me. I recently had a strange electronic issue that required me to have a lot of replacement parts installed. While my car was out of warranty, they suggested that this kind of issue is not something Subaru will just allow to happen to it’s valued customers. Therefore, I was not charged for any of the parts or labor. I’ve never felt so appreciated and had a beyond wonderful experience that I had to share. This is the type of stuff that builds relationships and customer loyalty. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else, and when it is time for a new car down the road, buying from them again will be my top consideration.
