I called Ford Customer Service to find out if what he told me was true. It was not. Adding Ford factory accessories using Ford parts does NOT void the warranty. Also the VIN is not changed when adjustmen told me was true. It was not. Adding Ford factory accessories using Ford parts does NOT void the warranty. Initial contact with sales manager and working with our salesman Makany was excellent. Our interaction with the finance manager Curt was not pleasant, to the point that I almost walked away and found a veh salesman Makany was excellent. I understand that the dealership makes a premium on their extended warranties and that the finance staff are instructed to push the sale of those products. We were offered the options, I politely declined multiple times. Curt continued to push asking what we would do if the turbo went out (because it was probably going to go out soon with the mileage), etc. i politely explained that we have a vehicle repair fund and if there's any repairs that come up where the cost would be above that, we would budget, save and pay cash. His response was that it 'must be nice to have money coming out our ears' and was becoming more frustrated each time we declined. He came back again to offer at a lower price, we again declined with a no thank you and he irritatedly said 'I guess you can't help everyone' before he left. I would recommend Mak as a salesman to anyone looking to buy a car. I would be hesitant to recommend Corwin as a dealer with how rude Curt was. More
