Joseph, We're sorry to hear that you feel this issue has not been addressed. However, we'd like to clarify that we have made multiple efforts to assist with the repair of your radio concern. During our diagnosis process, we even involved a third-party audio specialist in an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they were also unable to complete the repair and confirmed that the vehicle requires a Radio Control Module replacement and programming that can only be performed using Ford's proprietary software. To help facilitate the repair, Courtesy Auto Group scheduled multiple appointments on your behalf with Tasca Ford in Seekonk, as the repair requires manufacturer-level support. Unfortunately, those appointments were not completed. We understand your request for a loaner vehicle; however, we are unable to provide one at this time. Despite that, we remain willing to assist in coordinating the repair process and helping you get the issue resolved through the appropriate Ford service facility. Thank you for your feedback.

To clarify, the vehicle is approximately 10 years old and the radio concern was addressed after your purchase. The vehicle originally had an OEM radio installed, and during the repair process a replacement radio was provided and installed at no cost to you. We also understand that your preference was to keep the aftermarket radio because you felt it was the “fancier” option. In addition, you were allowed to keep the original radio as well. As with any pre-owned vehicle, especially one that is a decade old, electronic components can experience occasional issues over time. Despite this, we made every effort to address your concerns and provide a working solution. We value all customer feedback and appreciate the opportunity we had to assist you. We wish you the best with your vehicle moving forward.

We understand how difficult it is to be without your vehicle for an extended period, and we recognize that the lack of consistent updates added to that frustration. We take that feedback seriously and will use it as an opportunity to improve our communication moving forward. In this particular case, the challenge was that your vehicle is more than 15 years old and requires a component that Mitsubishi no longer manufactures or supplies. Unfortunately, once a manufacturer discontinues a part, our ability to source a new replacement becomes extremely limited. We explored all available channels within our network, but the required component simply was not available through Mitsubishi or our parts suppliers. While we understand your desire for additional assistance in locating the part elsewhere, our dealership is generally limited to sourcing components through manufacturer-approved and professional supplier channels. As a result, we were unable to guarantee the quality, availability, or compatibility of parts that may have been available through private sellers or third-party marketplaces. That said, we appreciate your recognition of our staff's responsiveness when contacted and our decision not to charge diagnostic fees since we were ultimately unable to complete the repair. While we understand your frustration regarding the license plate installation, tire balance, and alignment concerns, we would like to note that we have been actively working to address each of these issues. We currently have a front license plate bracket on order to properly mount the plate, have already re-balanced the tires, and are also taking care of the front brake replacement that was identified prior to the state inspection. Our goal is always to ensure our customers are satisfied with both their vehicle and their experience with us.
