The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Honestly one of the best dealership experiences that I have had in recent years. They were accommodating and tried their absolute hardest to make a deal when I initially had hesitations due to my own igno have had in recent years. They were accommodating and tried their absolute hardest to make a deal when I initially had hesitations due to my own ignorance on how the federal tax credit for the T8 worked. After negotiating a bit more, they were able to completely pay off my trade and were willing to get rid of a handful of dealer add ons that were a bit too marked up for my liking. In the end we all agreed on an agreeable deal where both sides compromised to reach a beneficial ending. They are far from pushy and were open to very constructive negotiation. Max and Tim were an absolute blast to work with and they treated me with respect from the moment I walked through the door. Bryan in finance was very thorough and did not push anything extra into the deal but did present a handful of options that other buyers may find agreeable. Overall this was an A+ team that completely made up for a negative experience I had earlier in the year. Fantastic group of people! Look forward to many years of service at this dealership in my new S60 T8 More
