Have had several visits to the service department for oil consumption testing. In turn causing me to spend several hrs waiting for my vehicle. He also told me we were lucky that we weren’t charged for any of our visits for the oil consumption tests. We have spent several hours at this dealership regarding this issue and do not feel confident in taking the car on a road trip. I was also treated very rudely by Brian the service director at one if my visits. Due to my experiences with my Sonata, it is highly unlikely I would purchase another Hyundai or recommend the brand to anyone I know. More

The service manager, Chris, did an excellent job explaining why I needed the service I did. The service department itself was great BUT Hyundai has contradicting info from 1 dealership to another, explaining why I needed the service I did. I don’t want to risk voiding my warranty and there is a chance that can happen because I got conflicting info from many different Hyundai sources. Thankful the manager took the time to go over things with me. But, I am leary about what the correct answer is because of the issues. I just hope I am not spending more money than necessary on services. More
