What a headache. Unbelieveable! I just bought a car here. First time at this dealership. A Fiat 500 Abarth. I only went there for the inventory. They had a car I liked. I drove all the way up there from Arlington Virginia. Major strong arm sales tactics(this offer is only good for tonight. If you leave without signing a sales contract this offer is no longer available). If you like high pressure sales you will love this place. I left. The offer was good the next day. They will also assume you have no idea of the value of your trade in and will try to lowball you. Only after I started to walk for the door the offer came up 5,000 from their original offer for my trade. 5K! You also better know the going market price for the car you are trying to purchase. Does this sound like the way you want to buy a new car? Unfortunately, all of that I expected. From an industry standpoint it is really sad that we have come to expect this kind of experience when purchasing a car. But not all car dealerships are this bad. Worse than that, there is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very bad. They delivered a car which was not working properly when I picked it up. Probably not their fault. Dragged their feet on repairing or addressing it. They scheduled appointments only to cancel them... twice. They really jerk you around there. Had to call Harry Criswell to get anything done. He makes himself unavailable. Did not get him. Got his secretary. Barbara Menso.I was only able to reach Barbara's voice mail and she did not return my call. I called again and again and finally had her paged to get her on the line. After numerous calls to her I found she seldom answers her phone. Issues still not resolved. They are refusing to address a dash dimmer problem that dims all the way down on it's own.. intermittently, and never comes back up. Not related to daylight or headlights being turned on or off as they are claiming. I will need to contact Fiat Corporate to have this addressed. They also did not mount my front license plate leaving me open to receive tickets in Virginia. There is a long story related to this too. Very poor inter company communication, confusion, story telling etc. Barbara Menso is also easily confused by basic issues relating to cars(example- transferring tags) and forgets to do things she promised to do. I get the idea she never leaves her desk to follow up on issues brought to her attention. She acts as though she feels put upon to have to resolve issues caused by her team. If you must deal with her, I recommend all communication with her be done is writing. She is very unpleasant to deal with on the phone. I definitely would avoid this dealership for service(as noted in other customer reviews) and I personally would not buy another car from them. Really not happy with my car buying experience at Criswell's. They left me with a brand new car with outstanding issues that will now need to be addressed at another dealership under the direction of Fiat Corporate. I also want to add please notice that for many of their reviews it says at the bottom of the review some phrase to disclose the review was done by a staff member not the actual person buying the car or service. Clever. I wish I had noticed that before purchasing my car there. That explains allot. Safford Fiat is in Tysons, and Fiat of Alexandria are other options. I would also recommend any car sold at Fitzgerald Auto Mall. You know the commercials. "The Fitzway". They are awesome. More
Best new car buying experience ever Shawn was a pleasure to work with in purchasing my new car. He was friendly and knowledgeable but no pushy. He understood the features of the car and made sure I was being helped and satisfied until I was ready to drive the car off the lot. Arrived at dealership at 10am and was out shortly after lunch with a fantastic deal on an amazing SRT8. This was my 4th Charger, first time at Criswell, and I think it says it all when I say "SEE YOU SOON Mike". I will need a 2016! More
Hyder and Reggie provided excellent service My engine light came on and I drove to the service. The service department told me that the rental car service was closed after noon on Saturday. My husband was out of town. I was so fortunate that Hyder (who provided me excellent service when I was shopping for a car) was around. I asked Hyder to help me. He was able to talk to the mechanic(Reggie) and "top" people. Reggie quickly evaluated the car and reported that the car needed to stay for service for safety. The dealership provided shuttle service for me to other rental place in order for me to get a rental car. I was able to get to work on time. I really appreciate the excellent service that Hyder and Reggie provided when I really needed. More

Great to do business with an honest dealer ship . Al from Ma I was interested in a new Charger they had. I called and talked to Bill Walsh who was great. We came to an agreement on the price of there car and my I was interested in a new Charger they had. I called and talked to Bill Walsh who was great. Bill ,Sam the General Manager , Dan in finance, and Donna in the office were great. I would recommend them to anyone and my next car will be from them. More

Leon Travis kept in contact with me, but not to the point of bothering me. On my time frame, I set up times to meet. Once meeting Leon in person it confirmed my feeling over the phone. Having made considerable repairs on the car earlier in the year (and recently surpassing 150k miles), I reluctantly searched for the closest dealership with the expectation of yet another repair ticket and invoice.. Upon my arrival, Carl Wilhelm worked through all possible options, eventually determining that buying new was the best route. He applied rebates and gave me an excellent price for a car that needed work before they could even test drive it. My finance rep, Steve, spent extra time over the next 48 hours, securing a loaner car and even taking me to lunch while dealing with everything from credit to title transfer issues. I feel lucky to have encountered the folks at Criswell when I did and very much appreciate their willingness to "see me through". More
