He is passionate about the vehicles and has an extensive knowledge about all their features. Dedication like that is genuine and makes him a valuable asset to Curry Honda. A dealership is only as good as the people that work there. I am still very impressed with his enthusiasm, great personality, and dedication to us as we explored the technology of our new Honda Pilot Elite. We bought it right off the showroom floor and could not be happier; not only with this exceptional car, but equally with all the people that worked with us at Curry Honda. I would absolutely recommend Rich Ethier Jr. and the Curry Honda team to anyone shopping for a new car. Thank You! More

I went to Curry Honda to lease a new vehicle and was connected to Andrew as my salesperson. I told him what I wanted, test drove the vehicle, and was ready to sign and drive. Andrew was pleasant with sm connected to Andrew as my salesperson. I told him what I wanted, test drove the vehicle, and was ready to sign and drive. Andrew was pleasant with small talk but the negotiations around lease payments were highly disappointing. For context, this was to be my fourth consecutive Honda lease. Prior to leasing, I owned another Honda for 11 years. All but one of the vehicles I previously owned/leased were bought from Curry, the only one not purchased from them was obtained from another dealer while I briefly lived in another part of the country. I have been loyal to Honda for as long as I have been driving and to Curry for every single purchase made while living in this area. Since my current lease was ending, my intention was to lease a newer version of the same vehicle. The vehicle I was trading in had just under 20,000 miles on it, so I expected some equity from the trade in to go towards the next lease. However I was told by Andrew that I had basically nothing in equity on it. He said they’d give me $1000 towards the trade in as a “courtesy” but that the vehicle was barely worth as much as the payoff amount owed to Honda Finance. I thought this was extremely odd because of the low mileage, condition of the vehicle, and the research I had done to estimate the trade in value on KBB and Edmunds. I expected about $3500 in equity. I told Andrew I felt the vehicle I was trading in was worth more, but he said no and that used vehicles aren’t selling well and that resale values have gone down. When it came to discussing the lease payments, it was very frustrating. I told Andrew I had money to put towards a downpayment and wanted my lease payments to be $450 a month or less. Andrew immediately scoffed and said that would probably not be possible. I found this off putting because I hadn’t yet told him how much money I was willing to put down. And because I had seen a Honda lease offer for the same vehicle I had test drove that was $439 a month with $5499 down. So clearly there was a path towards a lease payment around $450/month. There was also no transparency in the process. Andrew would repeatedly leave his desk to “go talk to the finance guy” and then return with some numbers scribbled on a sheet of paper. The downpayment amount and monthly payments shown to me were much MUCH higher than I was expecting, especially considering $439/month + $5499 offer available through Honda. I relayed this to Andrew and he asked what numbers I would want to see in order to make a deal that day. I was frustrated and told him I don’t know, and said I’d leave and come back in a few days after thinking about it. Over those next few days, I went to two other Honda dealerships. The first one was very excited about the vehicle I was trading in, said they wanted it for their lot and that I would definitely have at least $3500 in equity on it. I told them my budget for monthly payments and they said no problem. The only issue was they didn’t have the vehicle I wanted in stock. The second dealership didn’t have the exact vehicle I wanted in stock either, but they had an upgraded Touring model which has a lot more features than the EX-L I test drove at Curry. Their pricing was extremely transparent - the salesperson pulled up a lease payment calculator on his computer screen and let me see exactly how everything calculated out, including all taxes and fees. To my delight, the monthly lease payments and downpayment amount we came up with on the nicer Touring model were less than the amounts presented to me by Andrew. And, they gave me over $3500 for my trade in. I was disappointed in how things turned out with Curry and Andrew, especially considering the loyalty I had shown to Curry in the past. However I am glad I left and didn’t accept what they were offering as I ended up with a better vehicle for less money elsewhere. Unfortunately I do not see myself returning to Curry again in the future. More
If they break something in you’re vehicle they don’t want to fix and still make you come out of pocket for it and then both the assistant manager and general manager have no respect at all especially the gen to fix and still make you come out of pocket for it and then both the assistant manager and general manager have no respect at all especially the general no respect what’s so ever!!!!!!! And I just came back from an appointment and the sad part is I’m always going there work sad but they’re not as good as they used to be! More
