I honestly didn't plan on getting a new car the day I walked into DCH Freehold Toyota/Scion, but they treated me excellently and got me into the exact model car I wanted for the exact monthly payment I wanted. Smooth Process from inquiry to sale I started my journey with the request for a quote online. Naturally, I was contacted by several dealerships in the area, including Freehold. Actua I started my journey with the request for a quote online. Naturally, I was contacted by several dealerships in the area, including Freehold. Actually Freehold called me one time, while the others called frequently. I visited the showroom, once the Prius was on display and was assigned to Ian-Michael Salon as my salesman. He answered all of my questions and put no pressure on me at all. About a month later, I was ready and revisited. He identified a vehicle that matched my criteria and gave me a date that it would arrive. He also gave me a very competitive quote. I gave a small deposit to be assured that it would not be sold to another. I then called the other dealers who called me frequently. One dealer did not even make an offer once he heard the quote. Another knocked off $100 which was not worth my effort and another wanted $500 deposit up front in order to look for a car that matched my criteria. Once the car arrived, even earlier that the date expected. The rest of the process was very smooth and pleasant from beginning to end. Ian even sat in the car with me, explained the technology and helped me sync my phone. Since then I called with additional questions. He was always courteous, knowledgeable and as customer oriented as one can be. Go to Freehold Toyota and ask for Ian. More
