The other dealers told us there was no way it was the correct price and that they would change the price when we went to purchase the vehicle. Ian stuck by his price and did not play any games. We will definitely purchase another vehicle from Freehold Toyota More
Pleasant, "No pressure" sale-Honest We felt the dealership and their employees, especially Ian and Paul (finance) were extremely trustworthy. We felt no pressure. The entire experience We felt the dealership and their employees, especially Ian and Paul (finance) were extremely trustworthy. We felt no pressure. The entire experience to date has been wonderful, including today when Ian offered to put the plates on our car rather than have us wait by a service bay. We have already and will continue to reccommend DCH to family and friends. We will send them all to Ian. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with DCH. More

On Friday night the check engine light went on and three service stations could not put gas in the car. I had to go to a friend's station and it took 1/2 hour to fill the tank. I notified the salesman during the weekend. I knew he would have a problem with "Dennis" his sales manager because the words AS IS was repeated. The dealer agreed to do a diagnostic on the car and told me it was emission that causes the light to go on and off and they "DIDN"T HAVE THE TOOLS TO FIX IT" while the clerk kept repeating AS IS. I had already researched that it was an omission problem, easily fixed. for that car. It was a problem that was obvious and that the dealer knew about and they refuse to correct it. I can't go any where because I don't know if I can get fuel on the road. And I also don't appreciate being told that they didn't have the right tools in a room filled with folks waiting for their car. The sales manager, Dennis is just covering his behind. The salesman was excellent. (ERIC KRENTZMAN More

We went back to DCH Freehold (where we had a good experience purchasing a Sienna several years back). They were upfront about what they can offer, helped with searching for the vehicle, advised us on financing, and patient with us on our many questions. They delivered beyond expectation. Honest, down to earth, no nonsense. I would definitely go back for our next car, and would recommend them without hesitation. Our salesperson was Gunther and he is GREAT. More
Down-To-Earth, Honest, Cordial. What more do you need? On Monday February 23, 2015, my wife and I drove home a brand new 2015 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD. Black with ash interior. In just a couple of days, we are absolutely in love with the vehicle. I am even in more love with the quality of your sales team. My adventure began on Saturday February 14, 2015. We had concluded a week prior that a base model RAV4 with 4 wheel drive will be our next purchase. So, I set off doing all my online research. I then began contacting every Toyota dealership within an hour away from me. And then the fun began. Michelle was the very first dealership to respond. Comically, it was less than a minute from when I clicked on "Price Drop Alert." I received a phone call and an email. I let the call go to voicemail and answered the email instead. I decided early on that I will not take any calls period. I will seal this deal 95% through email, and the final 5% face to face. I wanted everything in writing, just in case there was a price discrepancy as we moved through this process. I went back and forth for with her and other Toyota dealerships. I was straight forward with Michelle, and she was very candid with me. I totally appreciated that. When she offered a price that was within my range, I ended my conversations with the other dealerships and moved this process face to face. As it turns out, DCH Freehold Toyota is the closest dealership to my home. I told that piece of info to Michelle early on. In the end, for convenience sake, I really wanted to come here. I'm glad her offer came within my range. So, on Tuesday February 17th, I step into the showroom. Michelle was tied up at the moment and asked if I would mind being assisted by Peter Feld. I did not mind. She debriefed him on everything, and Pete and I sit down to chat. Now, coming within my range and the price I want to pay was two different things. So, Pete and I went back and forth a little. I accepted his final offer. I was satisfied with that number. I own and operate my own business. My wife is in the medical field. And we have 1 year old son. Our free time is quite limited. Both Michelle and Peter were very compassionate and accommodating. They were not pushy at all. Instead, they worked with us to schedule the final steps of the process. Michelle even offered to take care of our son as we sign the paperwork. I appreciated that. A personal touch goes a long way. On Saturday February 21st, we arrive at the dealership to give in the deposit and sign the buyer's contract. A black RAV LE AWD with ash interior was not currently in stock. So, it had to be ordered. By Monday afternoon, it had already arrived! Very pleasant surprise. Month end had a lot to do with it I'm sure. So, on Monday February 23rd, my wife and I come in, finalize the deal, and drive home with our new vehicle. NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE NEGATIVE. Mr. Paul Leahy, Finance Manager. From day one, it was made clear to Michelle and Peter that we will be financing the RAV4 for 48 months, taking advantage of the 0.0% APR. My wife filled out the credit application and it was approved immediately. Mr. Leahy throws a contract in front of me and it says 60 months at 0.9% APR. It's a good thing I read EVERYTHING. I had him change it immediately. So, now we have to wait. And wait. And wait. I don't believe for a second that it was an innocent mistake. And this has nothing to do with Michelle or Peter. I have the utmost respect for those two and will definitely return in the future to purchase a car from them. I believe Mr. Leahy was trying to pull a fast one. In his own words (which he repeated excessively), "We don't make money selling cars. We make money on service." To make matters worse, after I told him that I'm not interested in any of the extended service plans, he kept on going and going and going. His "just give me 5 minutes" turned into 20. By this point it was nearing 8pm and we needed to get home to our 1 year old. I told him I had a close friend who is a mechanic. He responded rather callously stating that he has "50 mechanics behind him" pointing to the service garage. I found that to be rude and condescending. He then started pulling out service records of his daughter's car. Was that really necessary? He needs to learn how to listen to customers. I own and operate a gas station with a mechanic on the premises. I am WELL aware of the cost of parts and labor. There is no service plan a dealership can offer that would even come close to what I can get a car serviced for. So, then we finally started to finish up and he hands me a pink copy of a document. And AGAIN it says "60 months." His solution? Cross it off, write "48" and move on. Not even an apology. I had to look over the finance agreement over and over to make sure he wasn't swindling me. Michelle and Peter are genuine folks who deserve to be recognized. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Paul? Not a chance in xxxx. Thank you. More
