My experience with my sales person was excellent. Jeffrey Herman did an amazing job. He was very patient (I had quite a few demands) and really did his best to be accommodating in my requests. There was some going back and forth on the lease price and my request for cross bars added to the roof rack but when all was said and done we came to an agreement that my husband (he made the final decision) and I were comfortable with. The dealership gave us an amount for our used minivan that came very close to what we asked. (My used minivan was in great shape and extraordinarily clean - I'm quite proud of myself for keeping it that way and it paid off in the end). I was sad to see that minivan go (lots of memories of years spent driving in it). By the way we leased that one from Freehold Toyota in 2007 and then bought it when that lease ended. I loved that minivan and now thanks to Jeff, I'm pretty sure I will love this one as well. Jeff is a terrific sales person, he should be acknowledged for a job done exceptionally well. Thanks Jeff. I just bought my Camry a couple of weeks ago at Freehold Toyota. A very disappointing experience. These are the things that went wrong. -Since I requested price quotes from the Internet, the Internet person Tommy and I agreed on a price over emails. But on the day that I picked up the car, I was asked to sign an invoice with a price several hundred dollars more than what we agreed on, plus extra "Etching" coverage, which I had already told the sales person Ryan that I'd like to decline. After I pointed it out, I was presented with another invoice, but still with the $299 Etching there. In their third try, it had the correct number. -It's my mistake that I didn't pay attention to the fees when I signed the paper. After I got home, I realized I was charged with >$600 of license and doc fee. There're two problems in this. First, the license fee I paid included four years of non-refundable DMV registration fee, and I was not told about this. We're considering moving soon, likely out of stat, and if we do, we'll not get refunded for the remaining portion of the reg fee. -The second problem, we're charged with $359 doc fee. After talking to my friend who just bought a car from another DCH dealer, I realized Freehold Toyota's doc fee is > $150 more than my friend paid. -I wrote to Freehold Toyota and asked for explanation and possible refund, I was treated with arrogance, without getting satisfactory answers. I had to do research myself on the Internet to understand how this 4-year reg fee works. I love my new Camry but I will never go to Freehold Toyota again. More
