The purchase experience was great. I appreciated that we were able to negotiate our price over the phone. Overall, the sales process took 2 hours which was a bit daunting. Considering we completed our cre were able to negotiate our price over the phone. Overall, the sales process took 2 hours which was a bit daunting. Considering we completed our credit application ahead of time, it would have been preferred if that process did not take so long. Regarding price, I would prefer not to haggle. More
I have never owned a brand new car. I always buy pre-owned/used cars. This is my first brand new car. From the time, I looked up cars to the end. DCH toyota has made my buying experience very enjoya pre-owned/used cars. This is my first brand new car. From the time, I looked up cars to the end. DCH toyota has made my buying experience very enjoyable and pleasant. I looked a particular model on toyota.com and submitted quote request to the local dealers. Brooke Vega from DCH responded with in hours with a price I could not believe and refuse. I had looked at KBB and had a price in mind to negotiate, but DCH beat me to the price by a huge discount. I call Brook Vega and express my interest to drop by their dealership At the dealership, I was greeted by Chris Simmons who was very professional from start to finish. Chris was patient to understand what my needs are. He took the time to take for a test drive and also showed us the car which Brooke Vega had priced. I was approved by Toyota Financial Services for 0.9% APR for 60 months which further solidified my intentions to buy a Toyota. The same day evening I showed up with my wife and the deal was sealed. It is very typical of car dealerships to add unnecessary options as a requirement to make additional revenue. Chris neither did put pressure or kind of try to scare us to buy the secure etch and the paint protection package worth 800$, but I opted for it. I was then introduced to Paul Leahy the finance manager who took me into his office to complete the paper work. He walked me through the paper work and then presented me with extended warranty options for the new car. Again no pressure to buy or no scare tactics. I was interested in the Toyota Platinum extended warranty and the price was little out of my range. Paul worked with me and made pricing adjustments so that I can get the warranty. Many dealers that I know try not to discount the extended warranty, but DCH Freehold Toyota seems to understand the real value of a good customer. Over all, I was extremely satisfied with the level of customer service at DCH Freehold. It gets even better, after i signed the dotted line and took delivery of my brand new car, I changed my mind regarding the secure etch and the paint protection. After reading online reviews, it felt like it was snake oil and a wastage of $$. Once you have closed a deal, it is not easy to get a refund or a credit. But I called Chris and expressed my concerns and told him that I would like to withdraw my consent to the options and would like a refund or credit. Chris stepped up and without any hesitation told me that Paul would take care and apply the refund credits towards my monthly payment. DCH Freehold is about 40 minutes from where I live and I have other Toyota Dealers with in 20minutes from my house. I will take both my toyotas to DCH Freehold only for one reason - These guys at DCH Freehold Toyota knows what customer service is and knows how to treat a customer. More

I had the pleasure of working with Gunther. My trip was to see about finding a car for my soon to be born child. We were looking at multiple cars in the Camry model. Gunther was happy to show us the two to see about finding a car for my soon to be born child. We were looking at multiple cars in the Camry model. Gunther was happy to show us the two certified pre-owned that we were interested in in the lot. He was up front with the carfax report, mileage, price, and equipped options. I wasn't too crazy about the ones they had so left the lot, but not before I noticed another car that was somewhat out of my price range but it still looked in good condition. Eventually, I returned to the lot to see about test driving the 2011 Camry SE. Gunther wasn't available at the time I arrived, so we waited around for him figuring he was out with another customer. We didn't go with another sales person because we knew Gunther and wanted to continue to work with him. When he finally did arrive we went out for a test drive. He felt honest in his assessment, gave us a quick run down of the vehicle. He was so good, I decided to go for the purchase. The signing was painless though it does make you feel as though you are signing away your life. In about 2hours and a half, I drove off the lot with my new car. Thank you Gunther for your straightforwardness. Will work with again. More

I called them for a Sien Even though most of the other reviewers had a great experience with them, my overall experience was okay and not great. I called them for a Sienna that was advertized on their website. Regina gave a very attractive price over phone. When I went to them later that day, I learnt that the car was already sold. Then, the sales agent Ian offered me a decent price on a similar car and I decided to buy it and trade-in an old car. Ian was quite good that day although he later forgot a couple of things that was surprising. But then I had a bad experience with the finance people. They scared me into buying an extended warranty by saying things like "You know why Toyota provides only a 3-year warranty on their cars? Because they found out that the number of problems in their cars soar after 3 years" (this was accompanied by the drawing of a graph on a piece of paper of a line that soars very high). After coming back home, I did some reading (Consumer Reports etc.) and found out that there is not a clear proof that the high-priced extended warranties sold by the dealers are worth it. I also found that I could buy the same Toyota-certified warranty for about 30-35% less from other dealers (read the online forums at edmunds.com). I went back to the dealer in a couple of days to return the warranty--they kept trying to scare me by saying "Oh--you will not have coverage for all the computers in your car?" So overall, while I got a car at a decent price, my experience with them was not entirely satisfactory. More
