I worked with Michelle online for several weeks while I researched, and modified my search for a Rav4. I asked not to be contacted by phone, and she was the ONLY dealer that didn't bug me. I really felt comfortable working with her. I researched the numbers carefully, and she never tried to sell me more than I wanted. Her numbers were actually below the invoice prices in Consumer Reports., and Edmunds.com. I made an appointment to test drive, and after meeting with Michelle worked with a salesman on the floor. Joe Adorno was a great guy. He gave me a price that I was very comfortable with, and after checking the numbers again, and talking to another dealer, I knew that I was ready to buy from him. This is the third new car that I have purchased on my own, and it was by far the best experience. I couldn't believe how easy it was! even the finance department was pleasant and no pressure. I would definately go back to DCH Toyota for my next car. Thank you! More
I have been in many car dealerships: sales and service (Ford/ Chevy/ Honda) and NONE compare to Toyota. When you walk into toyota (dealership and service)you ALWAYS get a smile and 'can I help you?'...v (Ford/ Chevy/ Honda) and NONE compare to Toyota. When you walk into toyota (dealership and service)you ALWAYS get a smile and 'can I help you?'...very polite and very professional. This happens EVERY time!!! I cannot begin to tell to how important that eye contact and smile means. To me, it makes or breaks a first impression. I always tell people how impressed I am with Freehold toyota. After I leased my camry, my folks (down in north carolina) bought a prius and a matrix. My neighbors bought a matrix and a camry. We just bought a pre-owned Rav 4 this past Tues (thanks Tom and Kim). This was my first experience purchasing a brand new car. I walked in to the dealership with a lot of research in hand as I like to be prepared prior to meeting with anyone. A relative of mine recommended working with Gunther as they had previously had an excellent experience buying a Camry with him. From the beginning to the end, Gunther provided great customer service, informing me of my various options for the price range, size and physical look of the car. He was easy to work with and answered all my many questions. I was probably over prepared with all my questions but he was willing to answer them and answered them honestly (I followed up with GOOGLE and various forums after our meeting to confirm his answers). Also, I made 2 trips (1: Observed what inventory they had, 2: test drove) and still wanted some extra time to think about it. When I finally decided and let him know which day and time I was available, he was very patient, was willing to accomodate me and even came in on a day he was off! I highly recommend the Toyota/Scion Freehold DCH Dealership and Gunther! I purchased a 2012 Scion TC and it's only been a few weeks but I love it! (Update: I just remembered that if I had to complain... my one complaint, which has NOTHING to do with Gunther and definitely did not impact my overall experience, but is worth mentioning ---------- I did not completely enjoy my experience with the Scion Finance rep, I do not recall the name of the rep I worked with. I understand they have jobs to do, but they were a little too pushy and I didn't appreciate some of the comments when he was "pushing me" to purchase the additional insurance options. Maybe I just didn't appreciate his attitude, it went from friendly to overbearing when I did not wish to purchase the additional insurance options) More

Vinny is great salesman both times when I needed a new car DCH and Vinny helped me when all other dealerships would just give me the run around. When my husband bid on a used car on EBay, I was a bit skeptical, until we came to DCH Freehold Toyota. We were looking for a used car for our daughter. We arrived at DCH and were greeted at the door by Steve (Gaffney) We told him why we were there and was happy to help. When it came to financing Paul (Leahy) was accommodating and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. Not only were Steve and Paul helpful and friendly but the entire staff of DCH was too! We were offered complimentary coffee, and made to feel at home. On May 5th, Cinquo di Mayo, we arrived to pick up our daughter's car. It was clean and ready to go. The plates were put on and we drove off the lot with her 'new' car. Even though it was a used car, we received a car that was reliable and we had no surprises. We will definitely recommend DCH Freehold Toyota to all of our friends and family! More
Wish I had known of this reviewer page. Then, I would have demanded Michelle Weber as Sales Rep. She helped to provide an Internet Discount that was comparable to Costco Auto's Discount for its Members; have demanded Michelle Weber as Sales Rep. She helped to provide an Internet Discount that was comparable to Costco Auto's Discount for its Members; located the exact vehicle/color/features that I so desired. Then, had the car waiting nearby when I arrived for the test drive. She was busy and on the other side of the building, and had directed me to ask for a "Sales Representative" which I did. After my poor handling by the inept Sales Representative I met upon my arrival, my husband and I were turned-off totally by this dealership. If the price and the sought-after Prius V Five had not been available at that moment, we would have walked out of the showroom. Michelle saved the day, and was our "Champion" via the constant email correspondences with which she replied immediately and informatively. The crème de la crème was her rushing to the proper sales staff member to correct various situations, such as process the DCH $25.00 Gift Card, make sure that I had applied for Toyota's $50.00 VISA Gift Card, checked on the status of Registration and followed through with it being mailed rather than a "pick-up" at my request, made sure that the front license plate holder and screws had been ordered/received and notified me when I could drive to Freehold to have installation done. Then, made sure that I received immediate attention from servicing and rewarded by having gas tank "topped-off" as to my having to make an extra drive to the dealership. Her friendly and warm greeting and personal attention at our arrival confirmed that she was "The One!" She did not say untruths, such as the Sales Representative when he stated, "Oh yes, we'll match the 2.65% auto loan rate and pay more than the $2800.00 for our Trade-in to better the other dealer's offer. None of the signed paperwork was reviewed with me. They were folded haphazardly and just handed to me before the representative left my husband and me. Finally, thanks to Michelle we learned of the features we would find in our new Prius because she included a complete list in one of her email messages. Our Sales Representative never discussed any of the new features, especially after he had learned we were owners of the 2009 Prius model. When I had pointed out that the Odometer reading on the new car was 205 miles and not 5, we were met with skepticism. Then, it was pointed out that the car had been driven from a PA dealership. Still, the paperwork was not corrected. We are positive that Michelle would have asked and provided us with some refreshments while we waited through lunch hour (Arrived 9:45AM and Departed 1:19PM) or directed us towards a vending machine from which we could purchase a snack. Even though we had mentioned that we were hungry, all we received was a laugh. One Sales Manager replied to our announcement that we were hungry said, "You're getting a gift card, use that." Never mind that the $25.00 card might not be received until 6-8 weeks. God bless Michelle Weber-Ryan. If I had her as my Sales Representative from the beginning, my ratings would have been 5s. I don't give out standings to people who request that I do so, such as Justin A. had during one of our conversations. Oh, just recalled. Michelle continued to send follow-up email messages. Once we left the dealership, we never heard from Justin Astrin. More
