Pleasant and without pressure. I first went to Freehold Honda as it is closer to me. I walked around the showroom, sat in a couple of cars for about 15 minutes. There were a few (3-4) salesmen in a group talking, having coffee etc. I approached the woman at the desk and asked her for help. She got someone who told me that there were some Civics outside to the side and back of the building. (I was still in a cast and walking with a cane.) He suggested I go and walk around. He added that there was an overflow lot by Freehold Raceway. He suggested that I should go there and look around but, he wasn't sure if it was open that day. I walked out and went to Eatontown Honda. Art Smith saw me right away and approached me. From there on in he was just great. We spoke about what I was looking for and he took me outside where there was a 2017 Civic Touring Edition. I drove it. Throughout the ride he oriented me to the cars' various features. He answered all of my questions with clear knowledge of the car. I loved the car but wanted a different color. Inside, Art went online to search for a white or black car. There were none. I left that day and went to other dealers such as Nissan, Toyota, and Hyundai and drove comparable cars. Within the next 2 days I got 2 messages from Art letting me know that he was still looking. I later called him and said that I had talked myself into loving the color as the car was superior to any other I had driven. I went in the next day and made the deal. I felt so comfortable with my decision Art is a smart, wonderful man. Thank you Art. More
