9 days prior to this visit I brought in my Prius with the same problem (no power whatsoever in car). Based on information obtained from the Toyota users’ forum, I suggested the 12 volt battery may be the c same problem (no power whatsoever in car). Based on information obtained from the Toyota users’ forum, I suggested the 12 volt battery may be the cause. 1. I was told the waiting time would be 1 hour. After 3.5 hours’ wait I was informed that the battery was good, and the problem was power drain due to infrequent driving/charge. The fact that the car broke down 8 days later with the same problem and the cause was determined to be defective terminals draining power and the battery needed to be replaced shows the TOTAL LACK OF DUE DILIGENCE on the part of your service department. Correct diagnosis and repair should have been done the first time the car was brought in. 2. At the time of my first visit on August 31st, I had a state emission inspection sticker on the car that had expired in March 2020. I did not have it renewed because of the NY State extension “vehicle inspections that expired March 31 or after were previously extended and continue to be extended by Excutive Order.” (extension of expired documents, https://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/dmv-reopening-guidance). Apparently your service dept. was unaware of this. I DID NOT REQUEST an inspection at that time (not with a dead battery), but your people removed my sticker and replaced it with a “failed inspection” sheet with a 10-day extension. This arbitrary action cost me the $90.50 (in predatory and unjustified labor costs you charged, in addition to the inspection fee on September 9th when I did request the inspection. 3. (Minor, but characteristic issue) When I dropped my car off on September 9th, I asked one of your sales representatives to look at my car while it is there and provide me with a trade-in value offer via an note to be attached to the final invoice. I was interested in buying a new Corolla from you. This request was totally ignored and I had received no such note. I have found your service beyond poor and your sales reps. arrogant and discourteous. Very bad experience. More

Kathleen Crosbie, I cannot thank enough for going the extra "miles" to help me. I have had an issue with my brand new Toyota Camry since the day I purchased regarding the fuel door not opening. Each tim extra "miles" to help me. I have had an issue with my brand new Toyota Camry since the day I purchased regarding the fuel door not opening. Each time, I was told it need to be lubricated and it was, the next service visit was a spring that needed adjustment and it was adjusted, etc. It still did not solve the problem and It was so inconvenient for me since I needed two people to help put fuel in my car. Finally, this last service visit, I found a representative who went the extra mile and made sure this issue was solved. She called the parts department and had a new spring assembly installed. She walked me out to my car when finished and made sure that it worked properly with me before I left the dealership. She also made sure I understood the details of my next service visit for my vehicle. Kathleen is personable, helpful and takes her job seriously. This is the first time I have met her. I will definitely ask for her again when calling. I was beginning to get discouraged about the service center at DCH Toyota. More
