Service Center trying to sell me stuff I don't need. I went in for a simple tire rotation on my leased Rav4. I was told by Kathleen Crosby that it would be about an hour. After an hour and a half I wen I went in for a simple tire rotation on my leased Rav4. I was told by Kathleen Crosby that it would be about an hour. After an hour and a half I went to see what the problem was. Ms Crosby informed me that one of my tires had a "bubble" on it and it wasn't safe. She then tried to convince me I needed to buy 4 new tires ($700) even though the car (which I leased from Wappingers Toyota) has less than 30K miles on it and I have only 7 months left on my lease. Instead of simply giving me the information and getting me out the door, she instead wasted my term (and hers) printing up copies of new tire options. Ridiculous. After 2 hours, my car was finally brought up. No apology from Ms Crosby of the Service Dept. "I didn't know it was going to take so long," was all she could muster. However, the sales manager apologized and told me "there is no way" that I should buy new tires for this car when I'm going to return it in the Spring. Ironically, during my 2 hours there (listening to horrible bubble gum pop music-- who is this for??!! Teenagers don't buy cars!), I spent some time talking to Frank Pizzuro about leasing a Highlander in the Spring when my present lease expires but now I'm not so sure I want to give them anymore business. Plenty of other options up and down Rt 9. More

I had blown a tire the night before and stopped in to buy a new rim for my Avalon from parts. I went over to service to schedule the install and Allison kindly informed me that they could likely repair the damaged rim for less than half the price of a new one!!
