It ain't necessarily so For the (5th) time my wife's car was either misdiagnosed or DCH does not keep accurate records... (1) the oil pan was stripped out by a DCH mechanic, For the (5th) time my wife's car was either misdiagnosed or DCH does not keep accurate records... (1) the oil pan was stripped out by a DCH mechanic, so why should I pay for a new one? xxxx I can meet you half way but, not the whole nut... (2) The spark plugs were replaced on the previous visit at the Newburgh dealership; in fact, the car was acting funny after that service, so I took it to DCH, and they noted that "They had to replace one of the "New" spark plugs, which "may have been incorrectly installed".. (3) the leaky timing belt cover... guess who "said they replaced the timing belt", a Toyota mechanic at the Newburgh location, the same one who "claimed they replaced" the spark plugs. To date, our 2010 RAV 4 sits back in the repair lot where we purchased it, with a knocking engine and slipping transmission at the Newburgh, Toyota dealer... So, yes DCH is the better deal of the two dealerships that we frequent, and the attitude of the service representatives are more pleasant to communicate with than the Newburgh dealers. . Finally, we are in the market for a new car, and (1) used, and it definitely looks like we will be going back to DCH, as they are the better dealership, and of course, Toyota is a pronominal assembly of equipment. However, we first have to decide what to do with the seemingly lemon, or deceptively maintained Ravenous 4, we bought from the other guy... that was a mistake. More
