Still NO vehicle I have owned and paid for my brand new Nissan NV for 63 days. I have only had it in my possession for 21 days during that entire time. We had it customized which I will NEVER do with Dave Smith again. I purchased my vehicle on AUgust 29 and agreed to let the dealership showcase it at the fair and would pick it up Sept 15 after customization was complete and it was shown at the fair. The van never made it to the fair and on September 22nd it was still not complete but I needed a vehicle to drive so I picked it up. On September 23 while driving down the middle of the road the spare tire FELL OFF because when the service department installed the bumpers they did not reinstall the tire properly. I called my sales rep and he apologized but nothing was done. Around October 2 I finally got a call that one of the parts we were still waiting for since Sept 15 had arrived and I could bring the van in to have it installed and as a courtesy they would fix the spare tire that fell off due to their own poor work in the first place. The van was in the shop that entire day to get two tires mounted. I drove the van the next day until October 13th when the transmission blew. We took it in straight away and it was in the service department by 10 AM that day. We finally got a call at 5:30 PM saying it needed a new transmission and it would take 3-4 days to complete. On Oct 17 we called to check and was told by Jim Galley that the parts still hadn't arrived but the van would be ready in 3-4 days. On Oct 20 I called again and was told the van would be ready by the end of next week (no update on where the parts were.) On Oct 25th I called again and was told there were still no parts, specifically Jim the "Parts manager" stated "I don't know what's taking so long, I don't know where the parts are coming from" (one would assume a parts manager would have a tracking number for parts or know where their brand ships their parts from) and he said the parts would arrive that Friday or Saturday. Never did he apologize for the extreme inconvenience rather he became condescending and annoyed. When I asked to pick my van up Saturday evening once the parts arrived and the work could be completed and I was told that my van was not a priority for the weekend as they run "a tight staffed service department on the weekend, but he'd put me at the top of the list on Monday". Monday Oct 30th, we called to check on the progress again and were told the parts did in fact arrive on Saturday, however the earliest the van would be ready would be Tuesday. So now, here we are on Tuesday October 31 and it's halloween. Our family with young children has been informed that we need to pick our van up at 5:30 right in the middle of when we should be trick or treating (another inconvenience that does not seem to matter to the service department). We have been treated like a complete inconvenience to this staff, who acts as though they have moved mountains for us as our van sits in their lot for yet another day while make payments and still cannot drive it. I'm assuming the rack and ladder that still have not been installed (also paid for on August 29, then Dave Waddell sold them to another customer, then we were told we would have to wait until they ordered another one which takes 8-10 weeks to ship, then informed last Friday that they actually never left and we could have them after all "as a favor") will be mounted and installed when we pick up our van today at 5:30 instead of trick or treating. If you want to pay for a custom vehicle, never drive it and be treated like an inconvenience, then Dave Smith is your dealership! More

Dave smith was immediately helpful and Paul spent an entire day texting and playing phone tag with me while we discussed different buying options and getting everything lined up. By the time I drove down everything was ready and the car I wanted was waiting out front. Every employee I encountered was wonderful! Paul told me he thought there was an extra key and he would try to track it down. Two weeks later I got it in the mail!! No other dealership follows through like that! I highly recommend them and will definitely return for my next car! More

I would strongly suggest other business'es who want to be successful -follow the Dave Smith pattern. Chris Rice-Made sure the deal was the best it could be....Bradley Ell---knows his product, is a very happy employee, and is a huge asset to this company! I have bought many Nissan's and have found THE most honest place to deal with---they will always have my business. I have bought 8 Nissan's total so I know the brand---very safe! Three of those cars were bought from Dave Smith Nissan---I will not go anyplace else to buy a new or used car. We are all in great hands with this dealership. Glad they came to Spokane! More

Purchase of Nissan Altima When I called at first and wasn't ready to buy, Paul explained their company policy to me, but did not pressure me at all. A few months later, I called back and asked for him and set up an appt. Paul explained everything very thoroughly and let me test drive for as long as I wanted. Now I have my new Nissan Altima and I am very happy! I know I got a great deal. I would highly recommend Dave Smith Nissan and Paul Lash. More
